Once upon a time,
There was a beautiful kingdom full of happiness, riches and prosperity.
The people of this kingdom was ruled by a loving King and his loving and beautiful Queen.
The Queen was expecting a child, an heir to the throne of the King.
Soon, a beautiful baby girl was born.
The kingdom celebrated the birth of the new child for seven days. Everyone was happy.
Happiness, of course, does not seem to last long.
The King had fallen ill. The kingdom's best healers could do nothing. The kingdom's wizards could do nothing.
No one could do anything.
The Queen distraught turned to her sister.
The Queen's sister was a gentle soul who had spent her life finding love and magic. Of course, she found the magic in love.
"My husband has fallen ill, no one in the kingdom has a solution. Only you, my dear sister, you must know something to do," the Queen pleaded.
Her sister had no solution except one that she had learnt throughout her life, "My Queen, my sister, you have given me everything. You have taught me almost everything I know. In return, I will give my hardest try to save your love."
The King remained ill, but the Queen's sister spent her life dedicated to saving him.
At the last moment, the solution was found.
Unfortunately, it was one that would cost too much.
"The cure, it was hard to find all the right ingredients in the right amounts, but I have achieved it. But sister, it costs something that only one person can give," the sister brought out a dagger and a vial. The vial contained one of the most powerful cures known in all magic. It was only second to one other.
"Whatever it is, I will give it, even if it is my own life!" the Queen, determined to save her love, took the dagger.
"No sister, it is not you that must pay the price of magic," the Queen realizing what her sister had said, cried against it, "No, she is too young, I will not allow it!"
"Then are you willing to let him die?" the Queen wanted to save both her love and her child. She wouldn't allow them to leave this world.
"My love," the King said in his bed, coughing as he spoke, "we are all meant to die at some point in life. If they wish for me to leave this world now, then I must leave now. Do not try to save me. For our daughter, let me leave," the King brought his wife closer, and slowly kissed her forehead.
