Right at the moment there was no more than a few hours left. Right at the moment, it was the night, two nights after I received the message with the deadline. The night that came after the night after the night we all sat at Lucca's house and I'd told my secrets.

I was happy I'd cleared my mind though my father was still one person left. And my aunt.

But I was happy, I'd laid all my secrets out there. Except the one about the beating and running to Dex but I knew it wasn't important and I knew it wouldn't be revealed because the ‘texter’ didn't seem to know about it from his texts.

And also I needed to keep a little secret just for me, to appease the part of me that hates people knowing her secrets.

After Caden left, Adam had given me advises and hugs with words of encouragement. All of them had showed support one after the other.

After we got home and I slept off everything, Andrea and I had talked the next day in her room out of my dad's ears. She had been supportive and had been making plans for what to do if it all comes out.

She had suggested flying off to a remote country until the heat cools off. I'd liked the idea but the hope Kevin had ignited in my heart had made me think I'd not need that.

However, when a whole day went by with Kevin still trying to locate the guy and then begging him to work quick and get results — that hope began to dim. Especially knowing that this thing was something other people had been doing for weeks and failing. There was no way I expected him to do it in days. Thereby, I was scared and I finally started losing hope.

Andrea had seen this and had tried to cheer me up. They had all tried but I'd made my decision. I'd tell my dad about it.

By the afternoon of the day after we waited and two days after I told them everything, Kevin brought good news.

He'd asked us all to assemble at Lucca's house that afternoon with news that his guy had found out who was sending the texts.

I'd been shocked because it hadn't taken him long but I'd been more shocked when he explained everything to us.

The guy had been brought to explain things to me in full. I'd almost fainted when I heard who had been doing everything.

The reasons behind this person's actions were a mystery to us all but we knew he hired a professional hacker to help him torture us.

The guy Kevin brought had seemed intrigued by everything. He also said everything wasn't as black and white as we thought.

Because by the things he told me and found out there might have been more than one person working against me — us — I don't even know. He could only identify one though. He said he might have known more if he had the other phones with him.

The room had been filled with silence after the name was mentioned and evidence was shown.

The betrayal that had speared me when I shouldn't have been really surprised was surprising but the shock of the unexplainable things and reasons was overwhelming.

Everyone except me had had a few choice words to say and inputs on how to deal with everything since the police couldn't be involved. I couldn't talk for some minutes though because all I could think was the enemy had been so close all the while.

Everyone had been looking at me with worry as they saw me make no outward reaction to the news and had nothing to say about what to do next.

Soon enough I had shaken the shock off as anger filled me. I had told everyone with a decisive tone that I was going to confront this person alone.
