I stayed awake all night just holding her in my arms. She was a mess. I kept thinking of all the worse things that could've happened to her. Did he rape her? Did he hit her? What'd he do to make her look so broken? I couldn't begin to describe how angry I was. When I see Beatrice next he will be lucky if he lives. I looked down at the sleeping girl, and tucked some hair behind her ear. When she first fell asleep I had taken her glasses off and placed them on the table. She was beautiful. Words couldn't describe how beautiful she was. Beatrice didn't deserve her. She deserved so much better than him. I felt her stir in my arms and loosened my grip. She had tossed and turned through the night but never left my side. She slowly started opening her eyes, panic rising on her face.

"It's me Andy, it's okay," I told her, handing her her glasses. She slipped them on and looked at me. She looked cute. Her hair was all over the place, her eyes weak and tired, but she still was beautiful. She sighed heavily before reaching for her phone. She clicked away before her face dropped.

"You okay?"

"Yeah my mums just looking for me,"

"Are you going to do it?" I asked. She looked at me.

"I can't,"

"Yes you can Danni please,"

"I can't break up with him Andy,"

"He's obviously not treating you right Danni," she looked down, tears were welling in her eyes again.

"I just wish you'd see the asshole that he truely is,"

"What did he do to you?" She asked, her green eyes falling on mine. I swallowed the lump in my throat.

"It doesn't matter Danni, just know that he isn't going to get better,"

"Why?"

"He's an undiagnosed mental patient probably,"

"How do you know if he's undiagnosed?"

"Because he changes Danni, you know that," she sighed, resting her head back on the pillow.

"He never got checked because my parents didn't believe that he had anything wrong with him,"

"Why?"

"Because they were too busy seeing what was wrong with me,"

"And what's that?"

"You ask a lot of questions," she smiled.

"I'm curious,"

"They thought that me being gay was some disorder or something,"

"I don't see why they think that,"

"You're not homophobic?" I asked, propping myself up on my elbow.

"No, I think people are entitled to their own feelings,"

"And that applies to you too Danni," she sighed, climbing out of the bed.

"He loves me Andy and we've dated for three years,"

"Doesn't mean you should be in an abusive relationship. It's obvious he raped you last night Danni," she went white. Her body was shaking slightly.

"I'm sorry," I whispered, realising that I shouldn't of brought it up.

"He-he didn't-"

"You were having nightmares about it Danni," she shook her head, wiping tears from her eyes .

"I'm sorry that he did this to you Danni and if you don't breakup with him it'll only get worse," she looked down at the ground. I climbed out of the bed and towered over her.

"Danni," I started, holding her hands in mine.

"Please think this through. You obviously aren't happy with him and he isn't treating you right. He doesn't see how truely beautiful you are," her green eyes met mine.

"I'm not saying that you shouldn't feel bad about ending things but know that in the long run it's better to speak up now then to keep quiet and regret it,"

"What's he do to you?" She asked.

"Nothing," I replied, leaving her standing in my room.

"So my dad is so pumped to meet you," Yvette smiled, leading me through the factory.

"Is he or are you just saying that?"

"He is, also I talked you up a bit,"

"How much?" I questioned, standing over her.

"Not much, just enough to get you the job,"

"Should I be glad about that?"

"Yes, and there he is," she smiled. I looked over at a small man. He looked like he was five foot. He had grey mop like hair and had a beard run down his chest. He turned towards us and clapped his hands.

"Here's my girl," he chuckled, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Dad this is Andy," he looked up st me and laughed.

"She's a tall one isn't she," he chuckled, holding his hand up for me. I gladly shook his calloused hand.

"Well Andy it is a pleasure to meet you finally! Yvette sent me some of your work and I have to say I'm impressed,"

"Thanks,"

"So normally here we build based off of what the workbook states but I feel like we could put in some of your designs,"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that we get the workbook and sketches of your work and we all build copies of them,"

"So you mean to sell my work?"

"If that's what you want," he smiled, handing me a name tag.

"I'm willing if you are,"

"I am,"

"Excellent, Yvette she can work in your station with you and Jeremy,"

"Cool, follow me," I smiled at her dad one last time and followed her through the workshop.

"Morning Yvette," a guy called.

"Morning," she guided me toward the back of the hardware and through another set of doors.

"So in this section we do the finishing touches of products. So we finish sanding or adding to the design,"

"So we don't build?" I asked, taking in the surroundings.

"Well that's where you come in Andy. We used to rotate shifts and we still do but with your designs you'll be leading a lot of the work here,"

"But I just started,"

"And my dad can see the potential you have,"

"This must be the famous Andy," I turned around and saw a taller man standing in front of me.

"Andy Jeremy, Jeremy Andy," I shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you,"

"Likewise,"

"So let's get this out there, are you gay or do I have a chance?" I laughed at his question.

"I'm gay,"

"I swear all the girls here are,"

"Hey Jamie isn't gay Jeremy,"

"Yeah but she's just, strange,"

"Only because she denied you,"

"Whatever," he laughed, sitting down in front of a cabinet.

"You can start on the table if you want. The book is next to it in the design it needs to be," I nodded my head and made my way over. I looked over the book and saw that I needed to sand the edges to be smooth so I started working. The only thing popping into my mind though was Danni and how broken she was because of that asshole.
