-Gilinsky POV-

"Jack? Your beer is running over dude!!" Savana poked my arm to bring me back to reality.

"Fuck." I exclaimed. We all popped open a couple of beers before the actual party started in honor of cooling off.

And the fact that Jason and Simone were yet to grace us with their presence tonight. Thinking and thinking about that had made me lose track of my normal functioning - beer tipped over and spilled on the sink.

I wiped it up as everyone made their way out back of Sammys house. His parents were away the weekend to visit his brothers so we decided to have a huge kickback.

"Distracted much?" A sultry voice made me almost drop my beer again.

Madison stood in the doorway of the kitchen looking at me intensely. She had a shit tight jumpsuit on with wedges, her hair in beautiful locks and that familiar smile.

I would have been turned on if it wasn't for several other things that clouded my mind. And the fact that Madison and I shouldn't even be in contact with each other - we both agree that we after our relationship - there was no going back there.

I shrugged. I didn't want to talk to her.

"I know you're into her Jack." Madison said bluntly. The way she said her sounded sour in her mouth. I knew she was talking about Simone.

"Mad." I said as nicely as I could. "No offense but I don't think this really is your place to speak. You don't know me or my life anymore, so could you not have your say?"

Madison's face twitches. She didn't like that response and folded her arms, no intention of leaving.

"I mean I've been back here for a few days and I've seen how much she loves that Jason character." Madison strolled around the kitchen. "Whatever thoughts you have - "

"You don't even know what you're saying."

"Honey I'm trying to help you before you embarrass yourself! Thinking Simone could love you - but you are not Jason." Madison snarled.

I lost it. I slammed my first on the counter, pain shooting through me and not just from my fist. My heart aswell.

"There it is." Madison smiled. "The anger in you is back, are you willing to let it happen on account of some silly girl?"

"That's what you want? Me to just lose my temper and all for what?" I exhaled slowly.

Madison couldn't answer.

"You don't know what I feel for Simone or what I would do for her. You don't know the half of it, Madison." I spat out finally.

Her brows raised. "I'm not jealous of her, don't flatter yourself!" But it was more than evident she was.

"So stay out of it and stay away from Simone." I warned her carefully. "I don't need you ruining my life anymore than you already have."

"Just like you ruined us Jack? Does Simone know all about that?" She asked stepping closer to me, she was almost my height.

I could smell her strong perfume.

"Oh you didn't? So you're not the guy she thinks you are." Madison pouted.

"What happened between us means nothing, we both established that Madison. I would like for it to stay in the past."

Madison laughed and moved closer, I was about to back away from her as her chest was against mine.

Before I could, a group of people walked into the kitchen. And with them, stood Simone and Jason hand in hand.

Immediately I looked at Simone and something inside of me burst. She looked different - her hair tied up in a classy bun, little curls hanging out around her ears. She was in tight black jeans and a black halter neck top - I think that's what they called it. But it showed off every single curve her body had.
