Me and Lauren are laying on my bed cuddling she's asleep but I can't seem to fall asleep not after everything that happened.
My father is dead.
Yeah I know he abused me but before all of the abuse he was a great dad. Before the drinking before the yelling before everything he was an amazing dad.
It all started that night
Flashback-
"KARLA" I hear my mom yell from down stairs."COMING" I yell back. As I walk down stairs I my dad comes into view.
He looks like he's been...crying. "What happened. "Karla it's your grandmother".
"Well what happened" I ask a little afraid of the answer.
"She..died today"
"W-what how when"
"She got very sick and it was just her time"
"Dad are you o-okay"
"What kind of question is that Karla are you that stupid" he raised his hand to me and slapped me.
That was the first time it happened then he started getting drunk that's when it kept getting worse.
End of flashback
I feel Lauren start to shuffle next to me. She looks up at me "hey sleepy head"
She giggles my favorite sound in the whole world. "How you holding up" she ask I can hear the concern in her voice.
"I'm good still a little shocked but I'll be ok hopefully" she smiles at me and gives me a peck on the lips. That leads to another then another.
Till we are on my bed me straddling her having a full on make out session. I can feel my pants tighten so I pull back and give her on last peck.
"I love you" I say she smiles a wide smile.
"I love you to babe" with one final peck I get off of her.
"I'm gonna go take a shower" she nods her head.
Lauren P.O.V
Camila's acting pretty weird ever since we had our little make out session. When we were having it I felt something poking me in gonna have ask her above that later.
