Chapter 8

Ever since that Monday, Lucas and I have been technically dating, not necessarily giving ourselves labels yet. He's been to my house, and I've been to his, and I think his parents like me. They seem to treat me like their own daughter, which is really nice.

Today, he came to my house to watch "Captain America: Winter Soldier" since we're both Marvel fans, and we got to talking.

"Hey Savannah, I wanted to talk to you about something." Lucas starts.

"Yeah? What's up?" I reply.

He gets up off the couch, which kind of makes me nervous.

"Well, I was thinking... uh... we've been dating for a couple weeks now..." He pauses as he tries to find the words to say. He kneels down, takes my hand, and says, "...and I was wondering if you wanted to be boyfriend and girlfriend?" He makes the puppy dog eyes, which makes him look even more cute.

My smile grows wide as I answer, "Yes, I would love to be your girlfriend."

He shoots his hands up in the air, almost yelling, "YES!"

He leans over me, smiling, and kisses me while bracing himself on the cushions. I hook my hands behind his neck and head, trying to pull him down onto the couch again. I start to lay down towards the arm of the couch, him following me and ending up basically on top of me. He pulls away from the kiss to ask "I'm not squishing you, am I?" I laugh at the question and say "No." He smiles again and comes back in. He deepens the kiss and licks at my bottom lip asking for entrance. I grin to myself and open my mouth a little more to let his tongue in. My hand slides down to his waist and tugs at the end of his shirt. He breaks the kiss swiftly, just enough to take his shirt off. I feel his abs and just gotta say, damn he's got a nice body. There's suddenly a loud boom from the T.V and, startled, he falls off the couch.

My face grows surprised as I hear Lucas hit the floor, but laugh as soon as I saw he was okay. He struggles to get off the tan living room carpet, and plops back onto the couch while resting his head on my stomach. I run my fingers through his dark brown hair.

"You know we're gonna have to continue what we started at some point, right?" Lucas asks.

"Yes, yes I know." I reply, "We'll get there, don't worry." I giggled.

"We should probably watch the movie," I whisper.
Lucas gives me a little bit of a pouty face as he sits up. He sneaks in one last small kiss, then sits up again quickly. I playfully smack him in the arm, and we both laugh for a second. He puts his shirt back on, against what I was rooting for, and we watch the rest of the movie with my legs resting over his.

---------------Time Skip-------------

I had it scheduled for Sammy to come over so we could work on my powers. I mean, she can't help very much because she doesn't have any abilities, but she has the love and support I need right now.

She actually knocks on the door this time, and I concentrate really hard on opening the door with my telekinesis. It works, making me literally jump with joy, and she seems impressed. She walks in and asks, "Ok, so what are we gonna do first?"

"Well FIRST I gotta tell you something!" I say, getting really excited.

"Well what is it?!" I can hear the excitement building in her voice, too.

"Lucas and I established that we are actually boyfriend and girlfriend now!"

"Really? That's great! I'm so happy for you!" Sammy exclaims, "So when did that happen?"

"Literally yesterday when he was here." I answer, laughing afterwards.

"Ah, so it's new. That makes more sense as to why I didn't know."

"Yeah, you're the first person I've told about that."

"So I'm special again?"

I laugh and affirm, "Yes, you're special again."

"Ok now that we've talked about that, let's move on to your telekinesis." Sammy says, changing the subject. I've found that music helps me control it, so I turn on some music before we get started. I face a vase that's sitting on the coffee table and focus on it. I extend my hand and concentrate on lifting the vase. It starts to lift off the table, and I notice how easy it's become to move things with how much I've been practicing. I move it around in the air, also trying not to hit anything. Like the wall.

Unexpectedly, there's a knock at the door, but neither me or Sam can hear it over our music. Lucas cracks the door open, and calls out, "Hello? Can I come in?" But yet again, we don't hear him. So he walks in and closes the front door.

That's when the mood turns around real fast.

I hope you guys liked this chapter, it's my first time writing fluff and I think I did pretty good. I will have to give some writing credit to TheLastYoungBlood, as she helped me when I was stuck.

It's also my first time leaving you all on a real cliff hanger... MWAHAHAHAHA
