It's Thursday, which only means one significant thing. It's time for another group meeting with those other "super-people" as I like to say. Serena comes into my room late at night to let me know it's time to go, per usual. I'm really nervous though, considering the last time I was there I pissed Andy off. Hopefully she didn't recognize the car...

We walk through the door to the meeting room after a car ride that included a once-over of our plan. It's immediately a weird and unusual setting, because there are yoga mats on the ground instead of chairs. Serena and I look at each other, confused, but just shrug our shoulders and choose two adjacent mats. We sit and wait for the meeting to start. I panic slightly when Andy walks in, but she doesn't seem upset. Although, that could be part of her facade.

"Ok! Today we will be doing some meditating to get in touch with our inner power. Meditation helps with being able to feel and connect with your ability, rather than controlling or fearing it." Andy starts off with.

"Sit cross legged with your back straight and your hands in a comfortable spot. I'll go turn on some light, calming music." I notice the lights dim. After turning on music, Andy goes around and lights candles displayed around the room.

"Now focus on your breathing. Take deep, even breaths and focus on the intensity of energy rooted in your core. If you catch yourself with your mind drifting, just bring it back to the breathing." Andy murmurs.

I close my eyes and begin to attempt doing as she says, when something interrupts my thoughts. "I know you were here on Saturday."

Shit.

Sammy's POV

After school, I usually hang out in the lunch room with a few of my friends. Sav has to go home because of homework, and others like Grace and my other friend Tanaya (author's note: yes, the same Tanaya that taught Savanah some flirting tricks as talked about in the last chapter) have to leave for sports after about 15 minutes. Cool thing about today though is that Grace and Tanaya apparently don't have practice. I think it's because of the downpour outside, to be honest.

Lina, her boyfriend Malakai, Taren, Grace, Tanaya, and I are hanging out after school. Since it's pouring outside, none of us want to walk home just yet, so we start playing truth or dare. I know, the typical game teenagers play. It's really interesting when we play it, though. One should always have the better sense to not pick dare when asked by Tanaya, though. Her dares can be either really weird or really sexual, and we never know which it will be.

A couple rounds go by, and Lina ends up daring Malakai to yell, "HAVE HAVE BOOBS AND AM NOT AFRAID TO SHOW IT!" Causing all of us to burst into laughter. It's really funny watching him do stupid crap. Malakai is extremely gullible, so it's not hard to get him to do stuff like this. It's eventually Tanaya's turn to ask someone. She asks Grace, "Truth or Dare?" And Grace bravely picks, "Dare."

Now that's a pretty stupid thing to do, cuz everyone here knows to NEVER pick dare when asked by Tanaya. But it's bound to be entertaining by some people. Tanaya thinks for a moment, then a devilish grin spreads across her face as she glances from Grace to... ME? Oh no... this is not going to be good....

"Grace, I dare you to kiss Sammy on the lips and make it look intimate. It doesn't actually have to be intimate, but think of it like acting." Tanaya gambles. Everyone goes "Ooooooooooooh," in a taunting tone, obviously hoping it'll happen. But I, on the other hand, am starting to hyperventilate and lose feeling in my feet. No one can tell though, cuz I'm pretty damn good at concealing my feelings. This is getting really difficult to hide, however.

"Alright." Grace accepts after a couple moments of thought. Welp. There goes feeling in my arms.

"Are you alright with it, Sammy?" Grace asks, scooting closer to me.

"Uh..." I manage to say. I just nod, not wanting to disappoint the rest of the group. She slides right next to me while everyone else observes as if they're watching a movie. They better be entertained.

"Ready?" She asks as I gaze into her eyes, partially unwillingly. I'm reluctant to nod, but do so anyway. She puts her hand on my cheek and leans in slowly; I close my eyes, just waiting. My hands are shaking horrendously and I don't know how to help it. Finally, our lips connect for one slow kiss, and my hand instinctively goes to her waist. Butterflies swarm my stomach as something that I've imagined happening so many times actually comes true. I've had my first kiss already, luckily, so I know what to do, but god this is really intimidating. When she pulls away, we open our eyes and just look at each other for a few seconds. She then turns to Tanaya and asks, "Did that look intimate enough?"

She responds, "Hmm, I don't know, maybe you should do it again." With a teasing smile. Grace shrugs her shoulders and says, "Ok." Then turns back to me and kisses me again. Alright, what the frick is happening right now?! We've been really good friends thus far, but now she's willingly making out with me? This seems too easy, but I also don't want it to stop. Her lips feel so nice and soft, and I sense the passion she has behind every kiss.

She pulls away again and looks me in the eye. I dart between Tanaya and Grace with a confused look, then finally ask, "Was this pre-planned between you two?"

"Actually, all of us knew about it except you." Lina replies. The rest of them laugh.

"I knew that you liked Grace, and she has liked you for a while too. When I finally caved and told her, we set up this plan." Tanaya explains, "And it worked out quite well, if I do say so myself."

I turn to Grace, looking dumbfounded. "You... like me?"

"Yeah. That's exactly what I thought when Tanaya told me. Works out well, doesn't it?" She asks rhetorically. It makes everyone chuckle a little bit.

"Soooo... what now?" I ask awkwardly.

"Well, I don't know about you, but I would like to go out with you."

My face turns red, as if it already wasn't, and I say, "Uh, yeah, that sounds good to me." We kiss one more time, with the rest of the group aww-ing, and I pull her legs into my lap.

This is, by far, the best game of truth or dare ever.

Sav's POV

"I know you were here on Saturday."

Shit.
Andy knows.

"What do you mean?" I think, hoping she can read it. That's how telepathy works, right?

"Oh don't play dumb with me. You know what I mean. Now you're going to tell me exactly what you heard so I can wipe it from your memory. Or else." Andy tells me.

"Ok fine, I was here. Last week, after the meeting, I realized I dropped something in the hall on my way out and Saturday was the only free time I had to come back and get it. But when I heard footsteps in the hall, it creeped me out so I got out of there as fast as possible. I didn't realize it was you." I think fast. I doubt she'll believe me, but it's worth a shot.

"Ok, but if I find out you're lying, you'll regret it."

That's the last thing I heard before the music is turned off and the lights flick on.

"Ok, session over! Time to go home!" Andy hurries everyone out.

Others in the group were skeptical as to why they were basically being kicked out, but they didn't want to ask. And honestly, I think everyone just wanted to go home quicker. Serena and I are the first ones out of the room, and I tell her all about it on the drive home.

This is one hell of a night.

Ok I wrote this all in one day, pretty quickly too, so don't come @ me if it's bad. I just really wanted to get another chapter out there for all of you. I'm happy to include some LGBTQ+ in this story, especially since it's a huge part of my life. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and there will be more to come!
