What Could Go Wrong?

Chapter 14

Just letting you all know, this is an adorable chapter but there will be SLIGHT smut in it. Don't worry, I'll give a warning before it happens if you want to skip it. This is also a really long chapter so hang in there.

Sav's POV

I walk into school Friday morning to see Sammy and Grace cozying up to each other. What the hell happened yesterday? I ran up to Sammy and asked, "Ok, what the hell did I miss yesterday?!" gesturing to Grace's legs draped over Sammy's.

"OH YEAH! I didn't tell you about what happened!" She exclaimed. They then proceeded to tell me about their game of truth or dare. I remember now that this has been a plan for a while, and they're just now executing it.

"Oh riiiight, Tanaya told me about that plan a while ago." I recollect.

"Really? Even YOU knew? And bigger question: you didn't bother to tell me?!" Sammy asks, surprised.

"Nope! I wanted the plan to happen. And I'm glad it did, cuz it obviously worked."

"True..." Sammy accepts. I'm happy for Sammy and Grace. They are absolutely freaking adorable together. I notice Lucas striding up to the table from the side and address him with a smile.

"Hey!"

"Hey, love." He greets me, followed by a kiss on the cheek. He puts his bag down so I turn around and give him a hug.

"Check it out! Sammy has a date to the Winter formal now!" I say excitedly.

"Hey man! Winter formal is still over a month away!" Sammy says, exasperated.

"So? It's still good to think ahead." I explain, tapping my temple. Sammy just sighs. She then turns to Grace and asks, "What do you think? Winter formal?"

"Absolutely." Grace replies. They give each other a peck on the lips and I feel exceedingly happy that they're finally together

It's really close to "Sweetest Day", which is basically equivalent to Valentine's Day except in October. I used to think this day was stupid, but that was before I had a boyfriend to spend it with (heehee). Unfortunately, Sweetest Day is on Wednesday, so we won't be able to spend the WHOLE day together. At least we can do that after school. But today, Taren, Lina, Val, Sammy, and I are going shopping, specifically to prep for Wednesday. Taren and Val are basically our consultants with how they're helping all of us with our plans.

Lina, Sammy, and I decided to go on a group date at the Autumn-Fest that day. It's basically a fair, and I feel like we all would have fun. Lucas already knows that I'm planning something, and he loves that I have an idea. I mean, he wants to have a part in it too, but that's a typical guy idea. I'm planning the date this time.

Flashback to Friday

"Just so you know, I'M planning something on Sweetest day next week." I explain.

"Oh come on! Can't I do something?" Lucas asks.

"Well, you could get me flowers or something but I'm gonna be the one planning the day."

He sighs, but finally agrees, "Okay, fine. Have I told you that I love you?"

"Yes, many times. But don't worry, I love hearing it. I love you too." I go onto my tip toes and kiss him with my arms around his neck.

Sammy's POV

I've been getting ideas from multiple people, including Sav, Val, Taren, and Tanaya, about what to do for Sweetest Day. To be fair, I have absolutely no idea what to do for Grace and I really want to impress her. If I'm being honest, I'm not sure why I'm so nervous, but I am. I'm really excited to go to the fair though, it's both romantic and fun. I'm not exactly sure what we're at the store for, though. Probably some gloves or something because it's been getting pretty cold at night. I stop when we get to the aisle for candy.
