Sammy's POV
It's morning, our giant group of friends crowded around a lunch table like usual. I'm just about to continue our topic of anime when I find Savannah walking towards us with Lucas. She's finally gonna tell them about him! I realize as a grin spreads across my face. Yeah, even I thought she was taking forever to do this.
I tap Val and Lina on the shoulder and motion for them to follow me. They looks confused, but choose to follow anyway. I guess Taren sees where we're going so she follows suit. As we get closer, I notice Lucas has a nice smile on his face; he's obviously pretty happy he's finally meeting the others. We sit down on the brown benches in the school hallway, waiting for someone to speak.
Savannah starts with, "So Lina, Val. Sam and Taren already know who this is," she gestures to Lucas, "And I'm happy to tell you that this is my boyfriend, Lucas!"
The two shocked faces were priceless, but Sav's nervous one tops them both. I can tell she's really hoping they'll like him. Slowly, grins spread across their faces as they basically tackle Savannah to the floor. They're all giggling, and when Lina and Val stand up they hold out their hands to help Savannah up too. Then they turn to Lucas as if they're sizing him up, determining if he's good enough for one of their best friends. As Lucas is obviously getting kinda creeped out by their staring, Lina's the first to start nodding, seeming like she approves. Val is soon after, and says, "Yeah, he looks and seems like a nice guy. I'll trust him for now."
"Don't worry," Lucas replies, "I've already gotten the 'we'll kill you if you hurt her' speech from Sammy." Which gets a quick laugh out of all of us as I grin and do a thumbs-up. He's a good guy, I think he'll be around for a while.

Savannah's POV
So I finally have just about everything going pretty good in my life. My boyfriend is one of best I could ask for, my friends approve of him, and I'm gaining more and more control over my telekinesis every day.
Although, my sister has been acting kind of shady lately, going out more often, and when Mom says "no" she'll sneak out. Then she comes home later at night and has to sneak back into her room to pretend she was asleep the whole time. She doesn't seem to know that I'm aware of this, though. So one night I confront her about her random disappearances.
I hear her bedroom door close, so I sneak out of my room and quietly creep into her room. As I enter and shut the door behind me, Serena undoubtedly notices and quickly turns around, looking very surprised.
"Savannah?! What are you doing up?" She half yells, half whispers
"I've noticed you sneaking out, Serena. I know you've been doing this for a while. Question is, why?" I ask, not answering the question she asked me. I just want to be blunt.
"Ummm... I joined a late night book club?" She fails at coming up with a lie. She's never been a good liar.
"Mhm, nice try. I know you well enough to know you don't like books all that much. Tell me the truth."
"All right, all right. You have to promise you won't tell anybody though. Especially not mom."
"I promise. You're my sister, you can count on me to keep a secret."
"Ok. Well, it's a group of people that have powers, like us. They just meet at night because it's too risky during the day when every one is out." She explains.
"Why didn't you tell me about this earlier? I would've supported you, you know. Obviously, because I also have powers." I gesture by levitating the notebook resting on her bed side table.
