BRENT'S POV
As I walked in, I noticed Charlie hadn't changed. Why would she? Idiot. She is cute though. Stop, and think of Grandma Jackie in her underwear. Ewww.
She looked up at the bell ringing. "Hi, Brent. What's up?" she smiled. Why is she so happy?
"Nothin' much. You?"
"Nothing. Just organizing. If you are gonna stay, then help me. There's some buttons in a box in the back. It's marked 'buttons.' Can't miss it. Put them in the button display case and organize them however you want."
Now I have to clean, too? Uggh.
"Yes, you have to clean." Is she a mind reader? "Yes, yes I am." Creepy.
"Go. Organize. Shoo."
"I'm not a fly."
"We'll see about that. Now go."
"Okay, okay, I'm going, I'm going." She smiled again and my heart missed a beat. God, I sound like a girl. Grandma! Grandma!
As I put away the buttons, I saw an awesome Captain America: The Winter Soldier button. As soon as I slipped the button in my pocket, Charlie was there, asking if I was paying for it. "I was literally going to put money in the register now."
"Yeah right. You can have it, on one condition. You get more customers in here. Deal?"
What have I got to lose? I get a pin, and an excuse to hang out here. "Deal."
"'Kay. Either help or move please," I saw her trying to squeeze past me to where the shirts were. I moved out of her way. This will be fun.
