I didn't expect this...this is rather entertaining.
...
I knew what I had to do. I had to get the truth out of her, know her true motives, what was really going on. But really...
I couldn't believe this...
I knew that my mother wasn't particularly a nice person.
But this?
Now her true colours had been revealed. Now I know how much of a monster she is...
Her face was full of pure malice, clearly happy with the atrocity she had committed.
"W-why..."
She just smiled.
"I don't care about you. Why should I? You mean nothing to me."
"I see..." that was the only sentence I was able to muster at this point.
"Great choice of words there," said my mother sarcastically. "Oh, and by the way, one more thing."
I was hoping, so desperately hoping that this was all just some kind of sick joke. So many feelings within me were overflowing, I couldn't control myself and I thought I was going to be physically sick...
"W-what is it...?" I muttered.
"I hope you die."
Did she just...did she just say what I think she said...?
"Wait...what...?"
"Did I stutter? I said 'I hope you die.'"
I had to hold back the urge to cry. No different from usual, but this time it was even more difficult to maintain a state of self control.
"But...but why...?"
My mother just facepalmed.
"Because I don't care about you. You don't even deserve to live. Everything would be great, if it wasn't for you."
My sadness immediately turned to anger. It was amazing how quickly my emotions kept changing...some of which I couldn't even put a name on, it was like a bundle of emotions put into one.
"What...what the hell I even do?!"
My mother laughed at my statement as if I was a dumb child who didn't know the answer to a simple question.
"You don't know yet do you? No one's told you yet? Huh. I'm surprised."
"That doesn't answer my question."
"You don't have the right to know. Literally all you are is a hindrance to me. Always..in the way. In more ways that you could ever imagine. It doesn't do well for my business, I can tell you that."
My mother began to walk away, yawning. To say I was pissed off which a huge understatement. She was just going to say something like that and then walk away?
"Well I'm sorry I've been such a terrible son then, mother."
She looked at me with an innocent smile, yet unlike what she had before back when the four of us were together, she still had that evil in her eyes that couldn't hide her malice through her facade.
"What son? I have no children," she said sweetly.
She then proceeded to walk up the stairs slowly while I just...stood there like an idiot.
