I take Dane's hand, shaking it properly as if I were to meet him for the first time.

"Vivian," I state, and he nods.

The skins around his piercing blue eyes crinkle as he smiles brightly, his white teeth almost blinding. "Nice to meet you properly, Miss Vivian, welcome to Sapphire," he states, and for I assume that Sapphire is the name of the "pack".

  "Thanks."

"Now, uh, I have to show you around," he says, and I can tell, that a sudden nervousness comes over him, but none the less, I follow him as he strides down the dark hall, and out of the threshold. Bright, fluorescent lights now shine once we hit the foyer, people still roaming, though they stop once they see Dane and I emerge from the hallway's threshold.

"Who are these people?" I ask, trying so hard not to sound rude in any way.

"They're members of the pack," he states, and once again, I find myself lost. "They're people that belong to the wolf bind, do you know what that is?" He asks and I nod, faintly remembering Alakade say something about it. They're called the Canids, the ones of a lower class, the ones that belong to families. In the hierarchy, they're the lowest, the ones that makeup they bottom of the pyramid, while the ones who belong to the rally are the Omegas," he explains, but I cut in.

"I thought that Omegas were the lowest ranking animals," I state, surprising myself for the fact that I knew something, for once.

"Not here. In this pack, the warrior or guards are the Omegas, making up the bottom of the government pyramid, while the Beta is second and the Alpha and Luna are first, the dominant leaders in the pack." It seems the more he explains, the more I understand.

He doesn't continue talking but starts moving from our previous spot, for which the people have stopped glancing at us, mainly at me. We weave our way through the Canids. They're everywhere, crowding the floors, every room I see, there they roam.

"Follow me," he says, leading me through yet another threshold, away from the grand foyer that had the grand staircase reaching high to the second floor. It's only now that I realize when I look up, the beautiful hanging chandelier and the beautiful vase of flawless, white flowers that seem nowhere near wilting.

I catch up with Dane, who is waiting for me in another room, and I'm instantly hit with a whirlwind of shock. the room he has to lead me to is massive, amazing, there are almost no words to describe this sight rather than it is exquisite and gorgeous.

Tables upon tables, draped with white tablecloths litter the floor, plates are set around the tables, while eight chairs circle around the edge of the circled surface. At the far end of the gigantic room, there's a slightly larger table than the rest, and Dane catches me staring at it.

"That's where the Luna, Beta, and three Omegas sit. In case you haven't figured it out already, this is the dining room," he says.

"It's beautiful!" I exclaim.

"That's not all. Come on, there's much more to see," he waves his hand for me to follow him, and I gladly do, eager to see the rest of this magnificent and stunning house.

Traveling room to room, I don't think I've ever been in such an elegant, classy, intricate home such as this one before. My legs are becoming sore from walking place to place, and might I say, it's worth it. Every new room left me paralyzed with shock and disbelief, for the beauty was almost too much.

"This is your room," Dane says, walking up to a door on the third floor, while I pant to keep up with him, and he's clearly not bothered by the overwhelming amount of stars we had to endure not even moments ago.

Dane steps aside from the door, revealing a white, wooden door that just waits for me to open it. Dane gives me a head nod, telling me to go on.

"I don't have any clothes," I suddenly blurted.

"Don't worry, I will get you some. From now until the end of your stay, I'm specifically ordered to tend to your needs," he states. I internally groan to myself, for now, it feels as if I'm a princess, and that's the last thing I want to be, a demanding, selfish, little brat.

"Don't worry, I'll be f-"

"It was my direct order," he states sternly and I put my hands up in surrender. "Now go on in, if you need anything, I will be in the training room, you remember where that is, right?"

"I think so..."

"Okay, well, I'll be going now," he turns on his foot and disappears behind a wall as if he weren't just standing here a minute ago. I turn back to the door, reluctant to open it, but I go ahead and do anyway, the anticipation getting the best of me.

When I open the door, I go weak to the knees, staring in disbelief at what I'm met with on the other side.

What'd you think? Above is a picture of what the foyer looks like, I can just visualize me running like a crazy woman through that over and over again.

Ahhhh, luxury, I would party every night there...
