A/n: I was gonna say "thank you for 10k reads" in the last chapter, but forgot at the end. So, now thank you for the 12k reads and all the votes (which I did not expect to be honest). Well, enjoy then.

P.s. I don't know much about cheerleading, so bear with me.

Enid's POV:

I slammed the front door behind me, as Sam started her way upstairs to my room, but stopped as soon as Ethan's voice came.

"Sam, what're you doing here?"

She seemed frozen to the spot. "I, umm, came to talk to Enid." She replied.

"Talk?" Ethan asked before smiling and letting it go. "Okay." He said.

We all went up the stairs. Ethan went into his room and Sam and I went into mine. She sat down heavily at the edge of the bed and sighed out loudly.

I shut the door behind me and flung the book bag on the desk before dragging the chair in front of her, sitting down. She was looking at the floor absently, so I had to be the one to break the silence.

"What is it that you want to talk to me 'bout, Sam?"

"Dri." She whispered, still staring at the floor.

"What is it?" She looked at me and I felt like I was her therapist.

"You know four months ago when we started the practice, I was the one who came up with a trick for our cheerleading practice and we're going to perform it in our final match of the season. Then today she did it just fine." I was confused. "Even if it took almost a month's hard work to get everyone synchronized." Her eyes were wide as she explained.

"I don't see your point. She somehow remembers it." I said unconvincing even to myself. I did not need another suspicion on top of the whole police story at the hospital. I needed to give myself a break. I was confused after the weird day of Dri's coming back... as Dri.

"Enid, if she has lost her memory of last year, how come she remembers the whole thing and did it so perfectly that I came up with, notice, not Dri, but I did." She pointed violently at herself.

"Maybe because..." I was lost for words, but her eyes wanted me to explain this messed up situation to her. "She knows it by her heart."

Her nose scrunched up. "You think so?"

'No' was on the tip of my tongue, but for the sake of Sam's sanity, I nodded. "Yeah, I think so."

"Well, then." She stood up. Her face showed how much of that 'yes' she believed which was zero to non-existent. "How about her classes?"

Right, it was not as if I did not go mental over thinking about it, but who was gonna believe me?

"I know, I thought about it too."

"And? Do you know that she is somehow convinced that she had skipped almost half of the year and now, Aiden had to tutor her on her skipped lessons." My blood boiled. Dri was slowly getting on my nerves and it was only her first day back from the hospital.

"Aiden?" I stood up too.

"This is fucked up!" She screamed. "No one's saying anything about it."

"Why Aiden?" I asked.

"Apparently because, Aiden is her "boyfriend"." She air-quoted the word boyfriend.

"That bitch." The word was out of my mouth before I could stop myself. Sam stopped pacing to look at me shocked and I looked at her wide eyed too.

"Enid Grey is cursing?" She laughed so loudly that I was sure Ethan could hear her too. "You're so jealous, Enid."

"Jealous?" I was not.

"Jealousy is good too, you know. We all know how you and Aiden have feelings for each other and that's cute. Everyone's anticipating for the day that you two would confess to each other about your undying love." She said clapping her hands together.

"What are you talking about, crazy woman?" I was more than terrified of how she looked like then and there.

"Come on, En-" Sam was cut off by the loud knock on the door.

It slowly opened revealing Ethan. "What the hell is going here? Which witch laughed like that?" Sam threw the closest thing, which happened to be the blanket at the end of the bed, that never got to it's destination, at Ethan. He only laughed.

"I only laughed at how jealous your brother is." She crossed her arms over her chest.

"Jealous? And Enid? Are you sure?" Ethan entered the room. I rolled my eyes at his question.

"Yes. Aiden is to tutor Dri for her skipped lessons." Sam explained.

"Oooooh, right. Trouble in paradise." Ethan had to be the smartass that he was not.

"There's no paradise to be troubled." I said. "Sam, you should stay for dinner. Maybe mom's cooking tonight." I told her and she nodded eagerly.

It was after seven when mom got home and we sat down for dinner. Mom was happy as she got to have dinner with us after a long time. I was happy too watching mom chatting with Sam comically.

It was apparent that Will was trying to get a hold of her, but she did not pick up the phone till we finished dinner.

"Tell him to come pick you up." Ethan supplied as he was heading towards the living room.

"Come and pick me up." She dead-panned. "No, not at you. I'm annoyed with Ethan." Then there was another pause. "Yes, come and beat his ass up, my knight in shining armour. I'm waiting."

"Hey!" Ethan's protest was lost in the air in vain.

Will arrived in half an hour. Before Sam was out of the front door, she turned and gave me a hug, only to whisper. "Be ready for school tomorrow. I'll try to make things better."

"You're a crazy nut." I told her as she released me, but my heart was beating hard at the participation of what she was planning.

"See you later, potato." Sam gave Ethan a wave and left.

Before I could get out of there and into my room, Ethan stopped me. "Aren't you going to tell me what she whispered in your ear?"

His voice was full of suspicion and curiosity. "No, 'cause there's nothing to tell." I shouted as I ran up the stairs.

"Liar!" Ethan yelled back.

I shut the door of my room and leaned against it, trying to calm my racing heart.

What is Sam planning? Was the only thing, beside Aiden spending more time than necessary with Dri, on my mind.
