I slammed my textbook closed and let out a large breath, pushing the book away from me, "I can't do anymore."
Peter looked up at me through his lashes, raising an eyebrow, "How much more do you have?"
Shrugging, I slid down the chair, resting the back of my head on the top of it, "I don't know, don't care. That's enough for today."
He chuckled and shook his head, looking down at his own homework again.
It was finally Friday; almost two weeks since Spider-Man had walked me home that night those guys started bothering me. Peter invited me over to his and his Aunt's apartment to do some homework than have a movie night.
"You have all weekend to finish this; let's start our movie night." I sighed loudly.
"It's only five, Meadow."
"And if we want a movie night, we need to start now so we can watch more than one." I pointed out, standing up and making my way into the living room.
I heard Peter let out a quiet laugh and close his textbook, the chair sliding back from the table. He appeared in the doorway moments later just as I bent down to look at the movies they had, humming quietly, "What do you wanna watch?"
"It doesn't matter, just pick something." he replied, flopping down on the couch.
I huffed and sat down, crossing my legs as I picked a few movies, "Alright, how about 10 Things I Hate About You?"
"Nah."
"Oh, it doesn't matter, huh?" I frowned, looking back at him.
He smiled innocently and held his hands up, "May loves that movie; I couldn't tell you the amount of times I've seen it."
"So, what you're saying is, it does matter what we watch." I pointed out, tilting my head at him.
Peter shook his head, his smile never leaving his face. I smiled also and turned back around, "Okay, then.. How about Hacksaw Ridge?" I asked him as I put up the previous movie and taking out the other.
"Why not?"
"You know," I started, studying the case, "You kind of look like the main guy in this movie."

"Peter," I heard a voice whisper faintly, waking me up from the sleep I just so happen to fall under.
I kept my eyes closed, already falling asleep again. I felt my head moving up and down slowly, making me guess I was laying against Peter. I felt his body shake slightly before I heard the voice again, "Peter, sweetie."
"Hm?" he hummed, his chest vibrating.
"How about you two go to your room?"
This had to be his Aunt; I mean, who else would be in here? I stirred, something around my waist tightening slightly, "We're fine." Peter muttered groggily.
"Okay. I'll get a couple of blankets, it's getting cold at nights now."
"Mm-hm."
I moved myself as close to Peter as I could, burying my face in his chest. His arm tightened once again, something soon falling over top of us. I let myself smile slightly before dozing off once again.

I awoke to the smell of bacon and pancakes, causing me to furrow my eyebrows and open my eyes. I was met with the back of a couch that wasn't mine. Memories of watching movies and Peter's aunt coming home instantly popped into my mind, causing me to smile and sit up, running a hand through my now messy hair. Quickly pulling it up in a bun, I looked down at my clothes and made a face, realizing I was in the same clothes I had worn to school yesterday.
I stood up and quickly folded the blanket, placing it on the couch afterwards. I started making my way towards the kitchen, stopping when I heard voices.
"...like her?"
"Yeah," Peter's voice replied, "Yeah, I think I do."
"Well, with the way you two were sleeping last night, I'd be surprised if you didn't."
My eyebrows raised. Peter liked me? I mean, I would be lying if I said I didn't feel anything towards him either. I smiled and stood up straight, walking into the kitchen. May looked over towards me and smiled brightly, causing Peter to turn around quickly, "Hi!" May said, making her way over, "It's nice to finally meet you. Peter never shuts up about you."
I saw Peter roll his eyes, his face becoming red. I laughed slightly and shook her hand, "It's nice to meet you, too, May."
"Do you like pancakes?" she asked, walking back towards the stove, "And bacon?"
"I do, but I better go home and change out of these clothes-"
"You can borrow some of mine," Peter suggested, standing from his seat at the bar and walking over to me, "You could even take a shower if you wanted."
"Oh, um, I don't want to over stay my welcome." I frowned, shaking my head.
"Oh, nonsense," May said, shaking her head, "There's no such thing as that."
"Are you sure?" I asked.
She smiled over at me and nodded, "Positive. Now, go take a shower. Breakfast is almost ready."
I looked up at Peter, who was already studying my face, causing me to smile, "Okay."
He smiled brightly and grabbed my hand gently, "Come on, I'll show you where everything is."
