I paced around Peter's bedroom, my arms crossed and my eyes focused on the floor. I just couldn't get multiple things put together in my mind; Some weirdo is after me, Spider-Man is Peter- or, well, Peter is Spider-Man, and that Peter was the one saving me from the beginning. I turned towards Peter, who was still in his suit, minus the mask, his eyes watching my every move.
"So," I started, stopping in front of him, "You're Spider-Man."
"Yes."
"You're the one that's been saving me."
"Yes."
"Now, some weird freak is after me because of something you did to him."
"Uh, yes."
I nodded and looked around a little bit before looking him in his eyes again, "What do we do now?"
"That's it?" he asked, raising an eyebrow, "You're not going to go off on me about hiding this from you?"
"Why would I? This isn't something that concerns me. Well, until now, apparently. What did you do to this guy, anyway?" I asked, sitting beside of him.
Peter sighed and looked down at his suit covered hands, "He used to be my best friend until his father sent him away to some kind of boarding school. His father had a disease, which has been passed down to Harry. He had asked Spider-Man to give him some blood to see if it would heal him."
"And you told him no."
"Yeah," he nodded, "It was too dangerous. Who knew what would happen if our blood was combined."
I leaned my head against his shoulder gently, "I'm sorry for being mad at you this past week. I thought you didn't want to be with me or that there was someone else." I admitted to him, letting out a soft laugh at the end.
Peter quickly stood up, pulling me with him, "I want to be with you so bad, Meadow, you have no idea. There's no one else I'd rather be with. As much as I would love to discuss this, we need to discuss what we're going to do about Harry first." he told me in a quiet voice, his eyes never leaving mine.
I smiled up at him and nodded, "Okay," I whispered, "What did you have in mind?"
"I'm not sure yet." he mumbled, shaking his head, "There's no one you could stay with, no where you could go."
I shook my head, "Honestly, I don't want to be anywhere but with you. I know you can protect me better than anyone or any place."
Peter studied my face for a for seconds before nodding, "I'm not leaving you alone, Meadow. The only time I'll leave is to fight him."
"And to go to the bathroom, I'd hope."
He laughed, shaking his head, "You always find a way to make light of a situation, huh?"
I lightly punched his arm, "Always, Spidey-boy."

It had been three weeks since the last appearance of Harry, or as the news was calling him, The Green Goblin. Peter had began to stay at my house, most nights sneaking in through the window. I had gotten use to him being Spider-Man pretty fast, now just thinking it was neat to have a superhero boyfriend.
Speaking of boyfriend..
I turned towards Peter as he climbed in to my room, shutting the window softly behind him, "What are we?" I asked him.
He looked back at me and smiled, "Well, I was kind of hoping you were my girlfriend."
"You never took me on that date." I teased him, walking closer.
"Well, if you didn't know, there's a crazy guy that's after you," he stated, wrapping his arms around my waist as I closed the space between us, "It's kind of hard to show you off when that's happening."
"Well, then.." I murmured, "Maybe you should just ask me to be your girlfriend then. I mean, we've been sleeping in the same bed for how long now?"
Peter chuckled and pressed his forehead to mine, his eye closed, "Meadow Jones, would you do me the honor of becoming my girlfriend?"
"Woah, I can't wait to see how you propose after that kind of formality," I giggled, causing him to smile even wider, "I would love to be your girlfriend, Peter Parker."
He studied my face for a few seconds before closing the space between us, our lips meeting in a soft kiss. After a few seconds, I pulled away and looked up into his bright brown eyes, "I've been waiting for that for a long time, Parker."
"Last name basis, again?" he chuckled, kissing me once more, "You're lucky you're cute."
"Well, how sweet is this?" a voice snarled, causing us to quickly turn towards the window, seeing Harry hovering just outside of it, his hand on the windowsill, "The two love birds finally together."
Peter pushed me behind him, "Harry.."
"No, Peter! I have nothing now. No life to look forward to, no hope to hold on to. I know I said it before but," he chuckled darkly and held his hand up, green smoke starting to float into the room, "It's time to take all of that away from you."
Peter quickly looked back at me with wide eyes, "Run, Meadow."
An odd smell overcame my senses, causing my eyes to roll back and everything go dark.
