"He gone yet?" I nodded, looking up at Jay with a magazine in my hands
"Yep."
"Looked like you two were having fun." He said, walking in and sitting on the end of my bed.
"Yeah, he's really fun to be around." I said, keeping my eyes on my magazine.
"You know, we could have a lot mor–" I cut him off, this was pissing me off.
"No. Look, I don't want anything to do with you. I don't want you in my life and I know people like you, you're all the same."
He shook his head, smiling slightly as he started to walk out of my room. "As I said, Valentine, I will get you." He muttered walking out.
I threw my magazine at the now closed door. I want to kill him! He is literally that infuriating! Would I get in trouble if I did? It's not like anyone would miss him.
Being angry makes me hungry. I headed out of my room and to the kitchen. As I walked past Jay's room I smelt something. I opened the door and saw him smoking weed.
Why does this not surprise me? Eh, he can die if he wants. It's not like I care.
"Can I help you?" he asked, looking up at me.
"Nope, have fun dying." I muttered. Something grabbed my wrist and I turned to see him holding it. "Let. Me. Go." I said through gritted teeth. He got over to me fast, it surprised me.
"Why should I? Make me." Challenge accepted. I started shoving against his chest, trying to push myself away from him. His grip on my wrist only tightened when I did, it hurt but I refused to show it.
"You think I only want you for that?" he asked, looking at me desperately.
"All of you do, you said it yourself."
"Your different." He said simply, I rolled my eyes.
"How many times have you used that line?"
"Lost count after the first twenty or so." he shrugged, smirking, once again back to his playful self. Ugh, how can girls be so fucking tragically blind?
"My point. Let go before I call the cops."
"Angel, from the amount of times I've been there, I hardly think I would care anymore. Sure, they would take me in but does it really look like I care? And how did you know anyway?"
"Know what? I meant you holding me here." Yeah, I'm good with threats like that (cue collar pop). I giggled at my own joke in my head, he looked confused for a second then shook it off.
"Nothing, forget I said anything."
"Well no I'll have to call the cops on you if you don't tell me!"
"And what do you plan on telling them, darling?" he said, pulling me closer. You could smell the smoke from here.
"I–um, that you, er– I don't know!" I stuttered.
"My point, you have nothing to report."
"They will believe it though, you know they will when it comes to you."
"Are you threatening me? Let me get something straight, I'm the one who makes the threats around here. I do whatever the fuck I want whenever the fuck I want."
"Good to know you don't want to rape me then." I muttered but since I was so close, he heard.
"I said whenever, I might when I want to. But that would take the fun out of the game now, wouldn't it, sweetheart?"
I pushed away from him. I knew he was slightly off right now from whatever the fuck he was smoking in there, weed was only an assumption.
I heard his door shut and I walked into the kitchen, looking for something decent to eat. Just at that moment, Delilah walked in as well and sat on the kitchen top. I found a packet of chips (Pretty healthy, I know, I'm pretty cool) and popped them open, putting them on the bench next to my little sister. She took a massive handful and shoved them in her mouth.
"So you like Jay?" I asked, attempting to make conversation. And that fact that she replied I took as a good sign of my conversation starter working.
"Yes! He's epic! We have this kind of bromance thing going on." I laughed. Jay? Friend with my sister? Of all people?
"Really? And what do you guys do?" Or how much did he pay her to say that?
"Oh, well we do everything together! We got out hair done the other day and– You're a smart person, you know he hangs in his room and does stuff. I don't know what, but quite frankly, I don't want to know." Ah, my sister takes after me in the sarcasm section. I took a few chips in my hand and slowly started putting them in my mouth.
"That was a good one, believed you for a second there."
"Really?" she laughed, she smiled triumphantly. I put a chip in my mouth, and smirked.
"No, not really." I did believe her, which was the funny thing. Hehe, I'm a good liar. She looked disappointed for a second but she quickly got a hold of her expression.
She pouted, and then poked her tongue out at me. "What about you? He seems to like you a little bit..."
"I kinda like someone else, so no, he is a pain in my ass."
"Literally?" she said, dirty minded child.
"You are one disgusting minded little child."
"Can't blame me, I grew up with you. Aren't you meant to be a good role model or something?" she said eating more.
"Why thank you, I know I am."
"I said 'aren't you' not 'you are'. Gosh child! Learn English!" I rolled my eyes as she prentened to backhand me across my face but only hitting air. We have the same weird sense of humour, sarcastic and occasionally dirty. "Dude, if you want to get rid of him, just beat him at his own game. He's the bad one? Be the badder girl."
"Badder isn't a word smart-ass."
She is one smart twelve year old I had to admit, this just confirmed my idea of screwing with Jay's head and shit. I think I'm related to a genius.
"Whatever, I'm off." She grabbed the packet we were eating with her and no doubt took them to her room. That little bitch stop my food! Oh well, she deserved it anyway for indirectly agreeing to my idea.
Oh Jay, you have no idea who you're screwing with.
