"You want a lift home?" asked Jay. I glared at him, since when did he have a car?
"With you? No. I'll walk since Sienna has detention." How she managed to get it on the first day of the semester was beyond me, but oh well. I had no other choice but to walk or wait for her and let's say I'm not the most patient.
"Come on, it'll take forever to walk. Let me give you a lift since we live together now." he said winking; this just made me hate him more.
"Okay, first of all: no and ew. Second, since when do you have a car?"
"A car? Really babe? God, who do you think I am?" he said pulling my arm over to a black motorcycle. Oh shit no!
"Ah, not gonna happen." I said still staring at the motorcycle. People in the parking lot watched us; I could feel their stares on our backs. How is he use to this?
"Aw, come on, Angel. It's not that scary. I'll protect you. Just let me give you a lift home. We can do this the easy way or the hard way."
"I'm not an Angel!" I complained.
"Why don't you prove it to me then, darling?" he winked again. I pulled a face of disgust which only made him laugh.
"You are disgusting." I stated.
"Can't blame me for it, I have a sick mind."
"Clearly." I muttered, folding my arms over my chest.
"So babe, are we going to do this the easy way or the hard way?" he asked, sliding a hand around my waist.
"See ya." I said, starting to walk off but he yanked me back by the hand holding me. Damn, forgot his hand was there. Skill by me.
"I had a feeling you'd do that," he whispered in my ear, sending a shiver of pleasure down my spine. "Hard way it is then, Angel." He said to me as he picked me up and put me on the motorbike as if i weighed nothing. I didn't scream, I didn't yell. I didn't want to humiliate myself as everyone stared at us with curious eyes.
He put a fire truck red helmet on my head and kept one hand holding my upper arm at all times so I wouldn't run. He got on the bike too, without a helmet may I add. I hope we crash, then he will die and I will live. Queue evil laugh...I'm so strange. Ah, how I lack sanity.
"Wrap your hands around my waist, you better hold on." He said to me, grinning hugely. I hesitantly wrapped my arms around his well-built stomach. I could tell he was enjoying this, the fact that I was this close to him, but me? I hated it. Okay, I didn't hate it...I kind of liked it I admit cause come on, he's hot, but he's a jerk so I kind of didn't like the fact that it was him.
The bike jerked forward, speeding away from the school. I hid my face in his back at first, but after a few minutes I slowly lifted my head. This was so cool. The wind whipped my hair behind me and I knew I would have helmet hair after but this was too fun to care about.
"WOOOOO!" I yelled, he laughed, going faster if possible. "THIS IS EPIC! I LOVE YOU!" I yelled and immediately regretted it once I said it.
"You do, do you?" he said loud enough for me to hear over the loud noise of the bike and the wind.
"I was talking to the bike! God, who do you think I am?" I said, putting on his voice as I mimicked his words from before when I asked him if he had a car.
"I do not sound like that!"
"Yes you do, oh wait, you sound more like..." I started making stupid noises. I couldn't see it but I knew he would have rolled his eyes at me.
How we went from 'go die' to joking around like old friends? I'll never know but I loved this. Maybe it was the adrenaline. Meh. I didn't care.
After another few minutes we made it home. I unhooked my hands from around his waist and took the helmet off. He turned around on the bike, both our legs on either side of the bike. His legs touched the ground while mine dangled on either side. He looked at me, smirking as I handed the helmet back to him.
