One and Only Halloween (Reader X Killua)

The Past

(Y/n) pov

I was 6 years old when my life changed forever. There I was with my loving family in Hallo town. We were of a special breed, we are witches. My family was a different kind of witch though, well my father wasn't a witch he was something much cooler, we were the rare witches. We couldn't do spells like other witches but we were strong in our own way. I was sitting at our table for dinner with my mother and two older brothers.

''Hey (Y/n) are you ready for Halloween night?'' Asked my oldest brother Ryu. I nodded.

''Of course I am, mommy will you teach me how to ride a broom?'' I asked. I always wanted to learn, it was just so cool. My mother smiled at me and ruffled my hair.

''Of course (Y/n)-Chan'' Said my mother. I cheered.

''I took you for a ride couple of times'' Said my second oldest brother Kuta. 

''Yeah but if I'm going to be a better witch I have to learn on my own.'' I said. Kuta playfully rolled his eyes. He and Ryu was always overprotective of me and at times I hated it. As we talked my father came in. 

''Hello father'' Said me, Kuta, and Ryu.
 
''Hello my children and hello Tashaki'' My father said while greeting me, my siblings, and my mother.

''Hello honey'' Said my mother. ''How was work as the grim reaper?''

''Good but I still don't know why I got this promotion'' My father said and laughed. He then took off his cloak and walked to the table. He kissed my forehead, ruffled my brother's hair and sat next to mom.

''Today is the night of Halloween'' Said my mother. ''(Y/n) this year you will ride with me on the broom stick.'' I gasped. I always had to stay in town during this time. My brothers would go and so would father, and they would leave me with our ghost of a neighbor. She was a nice lady, she fed me and cared for me every Halloween night.

''I can finally come'' I cheered. My mother smiled and we went to get in our witch costume. We then went to town square on our brooms, well I was one my mother's. I looked over at all the people coming. I can see the ghost children, the goblin families, the troll families, the wolve people, and the other witches. Everything was dark in our town but it was so beautiful. We landed near the front where my brother Ryu lifted me onto his shoulders. We looked at our loving ruler. He was a skeleton that had a tuxedo on and next to him was his assistant Frankenstein.
 
''Welcome everyone'' Said the skeleton.

''Hello Mr. Skull.'' We all said. Our ruler Mr. skull loved that name. He came to our house a couple of times and greeted us. He was such a nice person.

''As we all know it is time for our next Halloween night, and I must say I am excited.'' Said Mr. Skull ''Now let us sing our town anthem before we leave for Halloween. This is Halloween''

Everyone started singing. I was singing happily as we all got ready to go. Once the song finished all the female witches did the witch laugh and Mr. Skull got on his black horse.

''Let's go'' With that said we all left on brooms and our own methods. I was on mother's broom with her, as we flew higher and higher. I looked pass the clouds and saw the Halloween gates. 

''Let's do it'' Said my mother. I looked amazed as me and my mother flew through the gates and out to the world. We continued to fly as I watched the kids below trick or treat.

''(Y/n) let's do our witch laugh'' I looked at her. She then did her witch laugh. I tried right after but failed horribly. My mother and I laughed normally. I saw how high we were and got so scared I nearly fell off. I turned into a cat from the fear. My mother smiled at me. She was able to transform into a tiger, Ryu could be a snake, and Kuta could transform into a bat. We continued threw the night scaring people and making people laugh. It was about to be 12:00 and I yawned. My mother smiled and we flew back to our town hidden in the ground. Once we got home my brothers and father greeted us.
