One and Only Halloween (Reader X Killua)

To Whale Island

(Y/n) woke up in the middle of the night. Killua was sleep leaning on her. She gently moved Killua and laid him on the floor. Once finished she went outside. She went to the top of the boat and looked at the sea before climbing up the pole and sitting where the navigator would look out to sea.

''It's so high up here.'' Said (Y/n). Jack came out the necklace.

''Indeed, but why are you up here? You can't sleep?'' Asked Jack. (Y/n) shook her head.

''Its not that.'' Said (Y/n). She pulled out a book and laid it on her lap. ''I'm going to read.'' Jack smiled at her.

''Finally, now you can really learn more about Hallo Town and your people.'' Said Jack. (Y/n) nodded.

''Yeah, I wonder what chapter the Halloween Nen is on?'' Asked (Y/n).

''Read and find out.'' Said Jack. (Y/n) opened her book to the next page, it read The Face Mask.

''The face mask? I heard my mom talk about it before but I never really understood it.'' Said (Y/n).

''I could tell you all about it (Y/n) but it would be easier if you read it.'' Said Jack.

''Ok, hey maybe they have a page or two about you Jack.'' Said (Y/n). Jack smiled.

''Well if they did. It wouldn't be much of a shock. I'm kinda big in the Halloween community if you know what I mean.'' Said Jack.

''So wait a minute. If we do somehow restore Hallo Town to it's glory, does that mean I won't see you again?'' Asked (Y/n) in a sad expression. Jack placed his hand on her shoulder.

''I'm sure I'll still be with you (Y/n). I wouldn't leave you.'' Said Jack. (Y/n) sniffed and wiped a tear from her eye.

''Alright. If you say so.'' Said (Y/n). She turned back to the book. ''Now it's time to read the face mask.''

The face mask is a somewhat ancient treasure in hallo town. The face mask was made by a famous mad scientist that also made Frankenstein. The face mask was supposed to be able to make someone go invisible when placed on their face but it didn't. Instead, the face mask when placed on changed the appearance and abilities of the person wearing it. This mask, after he found out the use, was used to impersonate anyone at occasions such as birthday parties or events in hallo town. Though this mask could be used for evil the people of hallo town was peaceful and not at all violent when it came to simple matters. This mask since it was never used for harm was awarded and known as peace from each race living in Hallo town.

(Y/n) was shocked. She knew that there would be many important items in this book but this was crazy. She never knew anything about the Face Mask.

''Too think I thought i knew a lot about my town. I really don't know anything do i?'' Asked (Y/n).

''No you don't.'' Said Jack. (Y/n) glared at him. Jack threw his hands in the air in defense. ''I just answered your question.''

''Did you have to be so blunt?'' Asked (Y/n).

''Yes, for you don't know everything about your town...but you can surely learn.'' Said Jack. (Y/n) looked at him. He smiled and continued. ''Everything that you could want to learn and more is in this book. That means that you don't have to worry about finding out information because you have it all right here.'' (Y/n) thought about it. She looked at Jack again and smiled.

''Your right Jack. So my mom really made sure I had everything I needed.'' Said (Y/n). Jack nodded.

''All right. As a matter of fact, we should read some more.'' Said Jack. (Y/n) nodded and turned the next page. The title of the page was called The Mummy's Curse. (Y/n) was shocked.
