One and Only Halloween (Reader X Killua)

Zevil Island

(Y/n) sighed. She didn't know who number 118 was. She looked to Killua and Gon who was walking to her.

''Hey (Y/n). You seem nervous. Did you get someone strong?'' Asked Gon.

''I got someone. I just don't know who it is.'' Said (Y/n). ''What about y'all, who did y'all get?'' 

''I didn't get y'all, that's for sure.'' Said Killua.

''Same'' Said Gon.

''Then let's just show the cards to each other. I'm sure Gon has the hardest person.'' Said (Y/n).

''You have no idea.'' Thought Gon. 

''Alright on three. one...two...three.'' Counted (Y/n) as the three showed their cards. She looked at Killua's card. No biggie, at least no one hard. One of the three brothers that's what she knew. She looked at Gon's card and instantly almost fainted. ''Oh my god you have Hisoka.'' She whispered.

''I know. But I'm excited and scared. I actually can't wait.'' Said Gon. (Y/n) smiled.

''Well at least you know who you got. Killua you got one of the three brothers. But I don't know which one.'' Said (Y/n).

''I'll take any information I can get.'' Said Killua. (Y/n) smiled.

''You guys wouldn't know who 118 is right?'' Asked (Y/n).

''Nope sorry (Y/n)'' Said Gon.

''It's alright it only adds to the challenge of hunting.'' Said (Y/n) with a smirk. Gon and Killua smiled at her. She always was stubborn.

''Alright but be careful. You still have someone targeting you.'' Said Killua. At that moment (Y/n) felt someone watching her. She looked and saw a hooded black figure. He looked strong. She looked at the number on his shirt which read 325. The card he was holding she couldn't see the number. Was he targeting her? Killua glared towards him.

''(Y/n) will be OK. If she's not I'll kill that person who hurt her. Wait...why do I want to protect her all of a sudden.'' Thought Killua. Once they made it to Zevil Island the hunt was about to begin. Hisoka was the first off, next was Gittarackur, then Houzou, next was that hooded figure. (Y/n) waited. Gon left, then Killua. He looked back at her. ''Good luck (Y/n).'' She smiled.

''Same to you Killy.'' Said (Y/n).

Kurapika and Leorio chuckled at the nickname she gave Killua. (Y/n) was the next one off. She grabbed her broom and ran off in the forest. She continued to run in the forest till she found a little cave in. She grabbed a pile of leafs and placed them inside.

''Our territory.'' The broom looked like it was speaking to (Y/n). She frowned.

''No I will not pee in there. I'm not a dog, we already marked it.'' The broom looked at (Y/n) and floated inside the cave in followed by her.

It has been 20 minutes and she sighed. 

''How about we read more before we go.'' Said (Y/n). The broom looked excited. ''Alright let's begin.'' (Y/n) opened the book to the next page where her book mark was, in bold it read The monkey's paw. She smiled.

''The monkey's paw is what made history in hallo town. It was the first pet of Mr. Skull after he became the leader. The monkey was alive but seemed to be dead. The monkey was named banna. The monkey was actually a girl. Mr. Skull and the monkey ruled together with the monkey being his right hand woman. Though Mr. Skull believed that the monkey would live forever, he was dead wrong. The monkey lived a happy life being known as the town pet. But the monkey lived longer then a regular monkey and stayed alive for 56 years. Mr. Skull was upset that the monkey died and couldn't believe how it died. The monkey died by eating too many bananas in a contest and ended up choking. When the monkey died, Mr. Skull wanted to remember her and cut off her paw to keep. The paw after a couple of days started acting weird. Mr. Skull made a wish to bring his monkey back to life and stay with him forever. Which was granted but the monkey was turned into a skeleton just like Mr. Skull. The paw still had flesh but the rest of the monkey was turned into a skeleton. The monkey's paw grants your wish but with a consequence. In Mr. Skulls eyes though. His curse was a blessing. (Y/n) finished that section of the book and placed her book mark in it.
