Meanwhile, outside the house:

Dave: so we are not gonna let him drive out of here?

Captain: no body shoots until I give the orders.

Dave: but hold on chief he's lost his mind, he's high, when he comes out and sees the masses, maybe we can ask him to lay down?

Captain: taking lead? That's not your call Dave.

Adrenaline rushed through Dave as he stood back. He took his gun out of its holster and waited.

Back inside the house:

Andrew had untied Brianna and now she stood beside her mother, holding on to her arm as if her life depended on it. And yes it did. At Thelma's request, Andrew kept his gun to the back of Thelma's head.
"Now let's go" he ordered.

Dave: They're coming out the garden level.

When Brianna and Thelma saw Dave they just wanted to runt to him, but the gun at the back of her head, made Thelma hold up her free arm in the air

"We're coming out don't shoot"
As the trio made their way out of the house, there was silence. Dave, the captain, Jeffery and all the scores of other officers watched in silence.

"Hold your fire!" shouted the captain as he realized that the gun was at the back of Thelma's head and that Andrew was hiding behind Brianna.

"Get back!" shouted Andrew as he approached 'his Cadillac'.

The officers had no other option but they all took a step back.

"Further back!" he yelled.

They all took another. "Wait for the green light," said the captain into his walkie-talkie.

"How about you let Bree go, Andrew am all you need, just keep your gun there and they won't shoot"

He thought about it for about three seconds then told Bree to "Go!"

She let go off her mother's arm and ran behind barriers made up of police cars. As she made her way towards where she had seen Dave, The snipers on the roof were getting ready for the signal.

"Get in!" said Andrew as he nudged Thelma into the backseat.

"Am getting in," said Thelma slowly, in an effort to contain her rising level of adrenaline. "Am just gonna let them know the plan okay?"

"No am gonna let Jef-" the moment he started talking, Thelma brought her left arm around in a mighty swing and punched the juice out of his chin.

"Now!" shouted the captain
In a split second an explosion broke the air as Andrew fell backwards.

"Secure his weapon" ordered Dave as he rushed by Thelma who was staggering.

"Got it" replied the captain.

"You alright?" Dave asked as he helped Thelma away.

"He was dead before he hit the ground" said an officer looking on. Andrew lay on the pavement with his eyes open.

A blank and horroring expression in his cold still eyes. A dark pool of blood was quickly

"Where's my baby?" asked Thelma, gasping for air.

"She's fine, she in the back of my car," said Dave.

"Dave," she panted. "Thanks," she said as she stared right into his eyes.

"Let's get you outa here" he replied.
