Chapter - Twelve

I went to meet Sara and when I saw her sitting there it felt like she never left. "Sara." I said rolling my wheelchair up. "Eliza. I heard. I'm sorry." She said. "Well. Sara it's the best and worst thing that's happened." I said.

"Sara are you Nyssas pet?" I asked. "Was. I got out." She said. "Sara there is no getting out. I barely got out alive. I never gave them my soul. I had a choice. You were Nyssas Pet. She nursed you back to health. I heard stories of her pet she loved. To know that we loved the same woman. I just, Sara I Loved you. We could of had a life together. Instead.." I said. "Instead I screwed us up. I love you Eliza I didn't want to drag you into this." She said. "Sara. Take some time. We can both figure out what to do next. I'm not sure weather or not if we'll ever be friends again." I said moving back to my wheelchair and grabbed her hand. "Be careful. Some of us have to deal with death. Some of us don't want to see someone die." I said rolling away.

Ollie went to Moscow with Felicity and John. Isabel happened to tag along. I spent a while at a spa trying to get my feeling straight. It has been a week and they are back. Moms trial is now and they called up Thea.

District attorney Adam had me on the stands. "Is it true what your mother said? Malcom Merlyn Stabbed you." He asked. "Yes. I didn't say anything because he threatened my family. That night was terrifying but I got through it with my family before she warned the Glades I told her that she needed to do what was right for our family." I said. "And that was helping Malcom Merlyn destroy the Glades?" Adam said. "No. It was fixing her wrongs in her life. One step at a time." I said. "Did you know that your mother had an Affair with Malcom Merlyn?" He said and I took a second. "I did not know this." I said. "That is all the questions I have for Miss Eliza Queen." He sat down and Moms lawyer came up.

"Miss Eliza. Malcom made you loose your legs. Did you feel like you lost everything?" She asked. "Yes. I lost my legs by his hand. It has been hard without my mother by my side but I'm getting through it." I said. "And would you say you lost a mother?" She asked. "I would." I said. "Does knowing she had an affair effect the way your family loves each other?" She asked. "I'm sure we all have different opinions but I love my mother no matter what. Because who hasn't made mistakes in their life." I said. "That's all my questions for this witness." She said with a smile.

Adam called up Thea and towards the end he started loosing balance. He told Laurel he was fine until he fell on his poor face. I didn't feel bad for him. I watched them roll him out.

I waited next to Thea. I looked around and I don't know how much I could take right now. "Thea. I'm gonna go. Let me know what happens. It's to much right now." I said and she grabbed my hand. "Okay. I saw how shaky you were and your cold." She said touching my hands. "I'll go take a warm bath. I guess." I said and kissed her cheek.

I went home and we were going to loose a lot. I felt it. I got into the bathroom and slipped into the bath. Then Thea texted me she was still there so I went and the jury came back. I sat next to Ollie and Thea. "The defendant is found not Guilty." Those words were said again and I felt like I was kicked in the chest. I felt happy and then I was hugged by Thea while Mom hugged Ollie. Then she came over and hugged me.

I rode home with Thea and we went home. I went and walked over to my bed. I got a text about a meeting in the morning for Queen Consolidated. I sent it to Ollie to take over and he replied telling me Mom was going.

When I got up I rolled myself to the car and my bodyguard drove me to one of the warehouses where something was stolen. I rolled in and looked around Ollie was being filled in and I saw that the Central City csi kid named Barry Allen started talking about the centrifuge. "I have a meeting at Global Group. Excuse me." I said rolling away.

I attended the meeting constantly thinking about the centrifuge and then Slade Wilson walked in our newest board member. "Mr. Wilson it's a pleasure to meet you." I smiled as he looked down at me. "I remember the report on the news. I would like to make a serious donation on some technology to fix something like that." He said. "There is nothing to do. I've already tried a lot and there isn't anything to do. No study could fix my spine. I'm sorry but please put it towards someone else's spine and legs." I said rolling to my office.

"I'm sorry I've over stepped." He said following me. "It's alright. I guess I'm not used to the looking up to everyone." I said and he sat down. "You should fill me in on what I've gotten myself into." He said and I nodded.

After the long day I went home. The one thing I couldn't stop thinking about was Slade's eye. I got into something more fitting and then Felicity messaged me about Oliver.

I got down the stairs carefully and saw him talking about the centrifuge. About blood and then the island. "Analyze this blood and figure out what type of sedative we can use on it." Oliver told Felicity. "And now Ollie can explain this to me and maybe Mom." I said and he sighed. "Eliza why are you here?" Ollie asked. "The fact that you wouldn't tell me and Felicity had to tell me about you. You got hurt Ollie." I said crossing my arms. "I'm not dead. Besides you don't have to worry about me." Ollie said. "Ollie. I have all the time in the world to worry. You were gone five years and I had nothing to worry about. Your alive I am gonna worry no matter what your my brother. I'm mad because you didn't tell me and I'm worried. So let me be worried." I said as my phone buzzed. "Hello?" I answered.

"Eliza. Hey. Mind coming to the tower? I have this friend in need. Her friend isn't here and her other friend won't contact the Arrow for help." Ash said. "I'm on my way." I hung up and looked at Ollie and John. "I'll see you both later." I said walking away and up the stairs onto my wheelchair.

I met Ash at our old hideout. "This guy was claimed as an over dose. He has been clean and doing blood drives why would he stop being clean now?" Ash asked. "I'm not the person you need to talk to. I think the Arrow should handle this." I said. "Eliza. These people who killed him need to die. You and I both know it." Ash growled at me. I stood up and looked her in the eyes. I felt a burn in my eyes as they were glowing yellow. My spine started tingling. I fell over. The nanobots were effected my old experiment in my system. "Tell Roy to talk to the Arrow. I can't do anything. Not anymore." I said and climbed back into my wheelchair.
