A Canary's Love (REWRITING)

Chapter - Twenty Two

We were in the tunnel and shooting each man with the cure. When we had them down Sara and Ollie went to get Felicity who Ollie set a trap for Slade with. I went to the basement and I took off my suit and started cleaning everything up.

It was over. Ollie got Amanda to call off the drone strike and Slade got the cure. Nyssa came down. "You can always visit me and finally tell Father who you are." Nyssa said. "What I want Nyssa is to buy a house with someone I love. The only person I ever really loved was Sara. You deserve her." I said. "We made a deal. But as a present for that child. I grant you, Sara. She's yours." She said and I looked at her. "She loves my brother. She would just go back to him. I can't force her to love me or keep her here." I said standing up. "That's where your wrong Eliza. I love you. I love you more than Ollie." Sara said from the stairs. "You have your answer." Nyssa said and walked out.

Sara came to me. "I want what's best for you and that baby. If you'll let me. I'd like to stay with you and help you get through this." She said. "I do need help. Thea is gone and I can't really ask the Arrow team to help. They fight crime. You fight crime. At least I know my city is safe. That's all I could ever ask for." I said and I put my hand up and she helped me up.

Six months later.

"Sara!" I called out as I was stuck between boxes. We finally got the house and I'm stuck between boxes. "Just a sec." Sara yelled back. "Hurry. I'm on something uncomfortable." I said as I tried getting up. "Eliza!" Sara saw me and ran over. "I thought you found something. What are you doing on the floor?" She asked helping me up. "I just bent over and next thing I know I'm stuck." I said and she touched my stomach. "The baby is fine." I said. "Okay. Eliza. I know it's never gonna be this calm and I swear right now you have this glow that says do it. So here it is. Eliza the past six months with you reminded me I never wanna leave you or see you hurt." She said. "Sara I don't want to see you hurt either." I replied as she took my hand.

"What I'm saying Eliza is I got Ollie's approval. Eliza I love you. Will you marry me?" She added. As I stared blankly I felt the kick of my baby. "I think she wants us to." I said looking down as I planted her hand firmly on my stomach. "To answer your question. Sara, yes. I'll marry you." I said and she kissed me.

While in bed I messed with the ring Sara gave me. Sara's hand creeped around my stomach. I felt a small kick and I slowly passed out.

Nine months Pregnant.
(Two months later)

I was walking around the house and we didn't have boxes anywhere. We were officially moved in. I was going through pre contractions something called bracks and hicks. They were painful at first but I was getting through it.

"Sara I need Peanut butter." I called out. "Isn't there some in the pantry?" She asked. "I ate the last of that yesterday." I replied as she came down. "The store is five blocks away. Can you get it for me?" I asked. Sara sighed. "Fine. Anything happens you call me. I need a few other things." She said and kissed my cheek.

She left and I called Thea to let her know I was okay and still pregnant. "Thea." I said as I swear she smiled. "Eliza. Are you still pregnant?" She asked clearly somewhere with lots of people. "Well. If I were in a hospital I wouldn't be talking to you would I." I said as I felt a pain. "Well How is everything?" She asked. "Well... I ran out of peanut butter. Sara went to go get me some." I said as the baby kicked and my water broke. "Um. Thea I need to call you back. I think my water just broke." I said as water leaked down my leg. I hung up and I dialed Sara. "Eliza!? Is everything okay? Did something happen?" She asked. "Hurry and get Home. I'll be loading our to go bag. My water just broke." I said as I guess you would call the pain as a real contraction.

I loaded our car and Sara ran up. "Did you get my peanut butter?" I asked and she held it up. "Good now get in and drive." I said in a little bit of pain while holding my stomach.

The contractions got closer together and when we got there the contractions were a minute a part. Sara held my hand as I called her a bitch and then I said things about the nurses. Everything stopped when they brought her to me. I started balling.

I was holding my little girl. Everything else just didn't matter. Her precious face. "Sara, I'm sorry I called you a bitch." I said and she kissed my forehead. "The nurses said they've heard worse while women were in labor. So I knew you didn't mean it." She said and I smiled with my little girl.

"Sara." Ollie said as she walked out with our little girl. Thea just gotten there. "Sara. She's beautiful." Thea said with her bags in hand. "Ollie, Thea. Meet Charlotte Moira Queen Lance." Sara told them. Nyssa walked in. "I want to speak to my sister." She told them. "Like hell." Thea growled.

"She's resting." Sara told Nyssa. "Then she won't care." Nyssa walked past them all in the room where Eliza slept.

"Morrigan." Nyssa whispered and I gripped her neck when I woke. "Nyssa?" I asked letting go. "You've given birth to a beautiful little girl. I just wanted to see you and her. Before I leave Star City." Nyssa said and I grabbed her hand. "Thank you." I said and she walked out.

Sara returned with Charlie. "She started getting cranky." Sara said handing her to me. "Sara." I said before she could go into the small bathroom. "I love you." I said and she smiled. "I love you too." She shut the door and I looked down at my beautiful precious baby girl.
