The Way You Look at Me (Zoella x Harry Styles)

Chapter 14

Zoe's POV:

 The bus was jam packed and we were lucky there was any seats left. I am currently sitting up the front of the bus with Scarlet. Alison is sat behind us, leaning forward so we can all have a conversation. Harry and Luke went back to Luke place, I think. As planned the girls and I are on our way to do some shopping before this Halloween party, Alison is planning. 

"Any ideas of what I could dress up as?" Alison asks puzzled. "I was thinking a nurse, but I went as one last year and maybe people would think it slutty here, so help me!" 

"You could go as something from an Anime or something, I don't know" Scarlett laughs as she throws more random ideas to Alison. They seem to be getting more ridiculous each time. "Maybe you could go as, a dolphin or something, because I know how much you love them." Scarlett beams. I let out a loud laugh, I quickly cover my mouth. I was not suposed to laugh that loud, I can feel my ears starting to heat up from embarassment.

I know normal people blush or go red, but for me it's my ears. Alison and Scarlet start to laugh at my reaction and soon I am laughing just as bad at myself. I can't breath and I'm grabbing my stomach.

When we get to the Shopping center we try to find stores with Halloween costumes. The first store we go into only had costumes for kids that had no chance of fitting us.

After ages of searching in a different store Alice found a cute lady bug dress costume. Scarlet found a witch costume that she really loves. I have just found a skeleton tank top and cat ears and have decided I'm just going to get the rest from home.

We walk out of the shop and I stop dead in my tracks. I'm looking at Alfie and Chloe heading straight for us. 

Alfie takes one look at me and changes his direction pulling Chloe along with him.

"Alfie! I really need to go in there! Stop being such a baby." She complained pulling Alfie back towards us. Guilt overwhelms me, I know he was technically the one who broke up with me but he got hurt the most.

"Hey Zo"  Chloe chirps as she drags Alfie into the store. I don't reply to her. She hasn't talked to me in two weeks maybe more and she just comes out with hey zo. I know she has reason to ignore me and has reasons to be mad at me but doesn't mean I can't be annoyed at her.

"What was that all about?" Scarletts eyes brows pull up giving me a look of confusion.

"Nothing. Can we leave now??" I ask quickly. My mood has went from high to low in a split second.

"Yeah if you tell us what just happened." Alice pushed.

"Fine. Me and Alfie just broke up okay." I rush my words praying the wouldn't go any further.

"Why haven't you told us before? You guys were inseparable for years! I use to never see you without him before I started talking to you. Sorry Zo." Scarlett gives me a sympathetic look.

"No it's my own fault. I hurt him worse than he hurt me." I say as we catch the bus home.

"So you broke up with him them?" Alice asks me.

"No, he thought something was going on between me ane Harry. I was stupid about it and didn't show him other wise." I sigh my mood getting worse by the second.

"Well there is something going on between you and Harry isn't there? He isn't putting up with me and Scarlett for no reason." Alice laughed. She wasn't helping at all.

"We are friends Alice thats all we will be." I glare at her.

"Okay! Okay. Doesn't  mean that he doesn't want something more." She winked.

"Thanks Ally I feel so much better now. Not." I purse my lips.

"I'm sorry Zoe, I'm just telling you as it is. You love me really." She rests her head on my shoulder.
