Yoongi's POV
Y/N hasn't been coming to school for a week now. I finally mustered up the courage to go to her house. I walked down the streets as the trees towered over me, the once joyful and colourful walks here now seemed to be dull and grey. I finally reached her house, I stood outside knocking for about 20 minutes. I finally gave up and decided to sneak in through the window like I used to, thank god the window was unlocked. I opened the window and went inside...empty. The whole house was empty. I started to panic and roam around the whole house, where are they?
I sneaked back out of the window and closed it, probably their neighbours will know where they went right? I knocked on the door of their neighbours, not long after an elderly woman was standing at the door staring at me.

Me: *Ahem* auntie, but do you know where the Y/L/N's went?
Auntie: Why do you ask?
Me: Well I'm their daughter's close friend.
*Don't seem close too me if he didn't know where they went* the woman mumbled to herself, but I clearly heard her.
Auntie: They moved.
Me: Oh, but exactly where?
Auntie: They didn't tell us that, they just told us that they would be moving far away because of some new job that their father had gotten.
New job? Her father was useless and he begged his brother for money, this doesn't seem right.
Me: Are you sure?
Auntie: Yes. They didn't tell us where they went.
Me: Oh, ok. Thank you then.
I walked down the streets wondering why they left and where they left. They couldn't have left Korea and went abroad because they didn't have the money to do so. But why did they leave? And why did she leave without telling me? Oh wait, she didn't tell me because in her eyes we're no longer friends because I betrayed her. If only I could turn back time...

Y/N's POV
It's been two months, two flicking months and I still can't seem to find a damn job! I've been searching non stop, and every shop owner would ignore me, or reject me. Why? What did I do!? Today's gonna be the last day I'm searching for a job, or else I don't know what to do. There has to be some place out there that will accept me right?
I walked down the little street filled with tiny cafes, it was a beautiful and comfy street, but nothing was beautiful in my life without Yoongi. If only I hadn't left him, I would've been so much happier seeing him even if my life was a mess. I wonder what he's doing without me, if he's thinking about me or not.
I stumbled upon a small cafe called "le petit chalet" which means "the little cottage" in French. (I used google translate for this😂).
It was a small and cozy cafe, with a wooden interior. From the ceiling to the walls to the floor, everything was made out of a beautifully polished ash red/brown wood, which had tiny trees and flowers carved into them. There were small paintings of villages and lakes hung up on the walls. The seating was simple yet beautiful. Low benches which were made up of ash red wood, had little maroon sitting cushions (Idk what you call 'em😂) placed neatly on them. The tables were also wooden, of course, but were very simple, they were only a bit taller than the benches, and had a very heavy look to them. Placed on the tables were antique animal figurines and a small antique flower pot filled with baby's breath flowers.
I headed towards the counter to see a small, and cute elderly lady sitting on a chair and reading the newspaper. I rang the bell on the counter and the lady looked up at me and smiled warmly at me, her wrinkles showed prominently on her face, like they were engraved there, she had grey hair and chestnut coloured skin.
Me: Hello auntie. Are you the owner here?
Old woman: Yes dear, what do you need? You can take a seat on one of the benches and I'll serve you the food.
Me: Thank you auntie, but I'm not here for that. Actually I'm looking for a job, it says that you were hiring on the sign outside of your cafe.
Owner: Oh, then come take a seat.
She patted to a spot beside herself. I sat down politely beside her.
Owner: Okay dear, so tell me about yourself and why you need a job here?
She smiled warmly at me.
Me: Okay. Well my name is Y/N  Y/L/N, I'm sixteen years old. I came here from Seoul. I live alone with my father, but he won't let me study any further and we have financial problems, so I was looking for a job. I've been looking for one for about two months now and haven't succeeded in getting one, so hopefully you'll hire me.
She looked at me and smiled. She was so cute! Like who doesn't love cute old people right?
Owner: Well judging from your story and situation, it looks like you need a job urgently. Plus I'm getting old now, and it's tiring to do all the work alone, so consider yourself lucky, because you will now be working at le petit chalet!
Me: Thank you! Thank you! When do I begin?
Owner: You can start from tomorrow if that's alright, because the shop is almost about close. Wait here.
I was so happy, I was smiling widely like an idiot, but that smile faded when I thought about Yoongi, I wish he was here to experience my happiness. You don't know how much it pains me when I think about him, how much I want him back, how much I need him.
Suddenly the Owner appeared again. She was holding something in her hand.
Owner: Okay, since you'll be starting from tomorrow, I'm giving you this uniform to wear, I think it's your size.
Me: Thank you, auntie.
Owner: Welcome dear. And please call me Halmeoni. It'll be nice to have someone around, I've been very lonely especially since my husband passed away.
I could see the sadness in her eyes. I knew how it felt to lose someone, because I've lost the two people I loved the most... Yoongi and my mom.
I tried to change the topic cause it was getting kind of quiet and awkward.
Me: Thank you again halmeoni, I won't ever let you down! I'll start from tomorrow, I'll be here by seven because it says your cafe opens at 7:30, and I'll try to do my best. Thank you again halmeoni, I'll be leaving because my father will worry about me coming home late. Lie, the biggest lie. Thank you so much again!
Halmeoni: Bye dear, hope to see you tomorrow!
She waved at me, I waved back and left, finally relieved that I found a job, at least I won't have to stay at home, with my freaking father who made my days a living hell. I'd still have to go home, but I'd be spending most of my time at the cafe, away from that hell.
As I walked home, I noticed a little pond. I smiled, but that smile slowly vanished when memories of Yoongi and I at our secret pond came flooding back to me. Even though seeing that pond made me sad, I decided to sit there and hang out for a while, just me alone, with no Yoongi.
