I sat by the pond, gazing into the sparkling blue water. I started to get lost in my thoughts, memories came flooding back: my mom dying, Yoongi, my mom, Yoongi, my mom, Yoongi...
It was as if I was lost in some kind of trance. Suddenly everything around me started to move violently, then a horrible creature emerged from the water and grabbed me. I screamed, only to find myself still sitting near the pond, it was just a hallucination.
What's happening to me? Am I going crazy? I shook my head and decided to go back 'home' because the pond was starting to make me feel uncomfortable, it was possible that a monster could come out of that pond and pull me in right? Aish! Stop being so stupid Y/N! That's never gonna happen, what's going on with me!?
I unlocked the door to my house and walked in. It was midnight but the lights were on, that's strange, usually my dad would've been asleep by now. I went upstairs only to find my dad snoring loudly on the floor with a bottle in his hand.Gross.

I decided to ignore him and walked into my own room locking the door as quietly as possible so that my dad wouldn't wake up, even though that seemed almost impossible.

Next morning, Y/N's POV
I woke up to the horrible sound of my alarm. I turned it off and was about to go to sleep again, when I suddenly remembered that I had my first day of work today.
I bolted out of my bed and into the bathroom. I quickly showered, brushed my teeth, dried my hair and put on my uniform. It fitted me perfectly. I applied a little makeup on my face to cover up my dark eye circles then I grabbed my bag and ran out of the house.
I reached the cafe and unlocked the door with the keys I had received with my uniform and went in. Halmeoni was sitting on one of the benches sipping some green tea.
Me: Hello Halmeoni!
Halmeoni: Hello dear! You've come an hour early. Come sit down, you can go make yourself a drink if you want.
Since I didn't have any breakfast, I decided to head to the kitchen and make myself a coffee with a muffin alongside.
I grabbed my breakfast and sat down beside Halmeoni.
Halmeoni: So, today's your first day, finish up fast I want to show you how to work the machines and make the drinks ok.
Me: Okay, thank you Halmeoni.
I quickly drank my coffee and ate my muffin, then I washed my hands and went to the counter where Halmeoni was standing there waiting for me.
Halmeoni: Ok, so first things first. Always remember to wash your hands before making anything ok. Now here is the coffee machine.....
After half an hour she was done explaining everything to me. The shop was now open. After about 15 minutes our (or my) first customer came. There was a cute little girl standing at the counter holding her mother's hand, the girl reminded me of myself when I was younger. I smiled.
Me: Hello, what would you guys like to order.
Little girl: Oooh mommy pick me up, I wanna see the menu!
I chuckled at the little girl. She was so cute!
Her mother picked her up, and she started to look at the menu, even though it looked like she couldn't read.
Little girl: Ummm, mommy what does it say?
Girl's mom: Eun Tak
Oh so that's her name. Cute.
Girl's mom: Just tell the young lady what you want ok?
Eun Tak: Oooh, okay! I want a chocolate milkshake with a vanilla cupcake. And please add A LOT of sprinkles ok!
I giggled at her cuteness. I gently poked her cheek and smiled.
Me: And mam, what would you like?
Eun Tak's mom: Ummm. I'll just take an espresso.
Me: Ok, coming right up.
I quickly went to the kitchen and made the coffee and milkshake. Then I went to the counter the counter with their drinks and took out a vanilla cupcake. I added a lot of sprinkles on it, so much that you couldn't even see the frosting anymore! I arrived at their table with their orders in my hands.
Me: Here's your espresso mam, and for you young lady, here's a chocolate milkshake and a vanilla cupcake with A LOT of sprinkles.
Eun Tak giggled.
Eun Tak's mom: Eun Tak, what do you say?
Eun Tak: Thank you! You're very pretty unnie, I wish I could be like you!
I smiled.
Me: You're welcome anytime Eun Tak! And I'm not that pretty, you are! I thought you were a fairy princess when I first saw you!
She blushed and smiled at me, showing her missing tooth. It was so cute! I wish she would drop by often! CAUSE SHE'S AO FREAKIN ADORABLE!!! The mother then thanked me and I went to serve the other customers.

Time skip. It's now evening.
Today was an exhausting day, so many customers. They were all really nice. But I wish we had another worker, I wonder why nobody ever comes here to look for a job. Huh, I guess I'll have to do all the work alone with Halmeoni. Plus, everyday is on for me, except for Saturday.
I walked back home, my back was hurting like hell. I walked into my house to see my dad passed out on the floor with a bottle of vodka in his hands. I sighed and took the bottle out of his hands, and chugged the rest down. Then I made my way to my room and basically collapsed onto my bed because I was so tired.
