Darkness, Lonnie and Arthur walked quickly towards the dark guild known as the Light Destroyers. Darkness, practically, knew everyone there while Lonnie knew the important ones and Arthur only knew Kaname.
"Can I ask you two something?" Arthur broke off the awkward silence.
"Sure." Lonnie said.
"Ask anyway." Darkness said in a soft voice.
"Were you guys close to Grandma Rose?" As soon as he asked that, Darkness stopped walking.
"Yea, we were." Lonnie said sadly, she thought of Grandma Rose as her own Grandma.
"We all respected her." Darkness spoke and both Arthur and Lonnie's head turned to stare at her. "Grandma Rose was a woman that loved spending time with the guild... Sometime she treated us like her own children when we were young but... After Kanane's guild was exiled for three years, she became ill and no one knew why." Darkness stepped, slowly towards Arther then placed her hand on his shoulder.
"We cared deeply for her and when we told that she had passed... It was like an everlasting pain." Lonnie said. Her sounded like she had been in the horrific pain before.
"She was a mother figure to all of the members of the guild but her son hated that she would spread time at the guild." Darkness explained but she didn't stop there, "After you turned fourteen years old, your father would come to our guild and yell at Rose to go back home... Where she belonged."
"But she didn't want to go home, she wanted to be allowed to do whatever she wanted to do." Lonnie said in a whisper.
"Can we stop talking about it?" Darkness asked.
"Yes, of course." Arther said quickly and they continued their walk. Silence between all of them was weird and awkward; Arthur felt responsible for being the subject up and he could tell that Darkness hated that subject. On the other hand, Lonnie tried her best to hide the pain behind one of her friendly smiles but Arthur couldn't help but feel the same pain they all were feeling.
The walk took longer then they expected but the night wasn't that dark and the street lights were on. Arthur shoved his hands into his pockets as he looked up into the beautiful night sky.
"What are you thinking about?" A sweet voice asked, it was only Lonnie.
"Nothing much just how the sky looks beautiful at night." And Lonnie nodded her head.
"It is wonderful." She agreed with him.
"Come on you two, we haven't got all night." Darkness's cold voice spoke up and Lonnie and Arthur hurried up to catch up with Darkness. They walked for about ten more minutes until they could see a enormous building... It looked like a hotel.
"Wait ... This is the Light Destroyer guild?" Arthur asked and Lonnie nodded.
"Yep, they were exiled for 3 years because the guild kept doing bad things that got them into trouble." Darkness explained. Her gray eyes stared down at the ground. Arthur walked in silence, he only nodded his head.
They walked up to the door of the Light Destroyer guild and paused as soon as Lonnie's fingers wrapped around the door handle.
"You know they could be planning something right?" Lonnie turned her head stare at Darkness.
"Yes but we will be ready for them if they do." Lonnie turned back to look at the door and then pulled the door open.
The room that was loud and obnoxious silenced once Arther, Lonnie and Darkness entered. The Light Destroyer members all stopped what they were doing to stare at the three teenagers.
