Acting Gigs

"...You got the job!"

 "Thank you so much!"

"Make sure you, Max, and Harvey are in the studio by 7:30 so we can get started on reading the script." The lady says.

"Ok. We will. Thank you again."

"Anytime. I'll see you tomorrow."

I hang up and try to keep a straight face.

"What'd she say?" Max asks.

"Well, she said I'm here to tell you," I pause. "We got the job!" I smile.

Max and Harvey yell, "Yes!" We all run inside to tell Mrs.Mills.

"Mom! Mom! We got the gig!" They yell.

"Oh, you did! Yay! When will all of you be going to the studio?"

"We have to go in tomorrow at 7:30 to go over our scripts" I say.

"Okay. Make sure all of you get up at 6 so we're not late." Mrs.Mills says.

We all nod and run upstairs.

The next day-

I wake up to the buzzing of my alarm. I moan and turn it off. 

I get up and walk to my closet and grab out this:

I swipe on some mascara and eyeliner. 

My phone rings and I pick it up.

"Hello?" I croak.

"Hey. You're awake. Okay just calling to make sure." Harvey says from the other line.

"Yeah. I'm almost ready."

"Okay. Just come to our house when your done."

"All right." I hang up and go back to my makeup.

Lastly, I swipe on some glittery emerald colored lipstick.

I grab my phone and walk out the door.

When I get to the Mill's house everyone's getting into the car.

"Hey Scar." Harvey smiles and hugs me.

"Hey." I smile back and get into the car with him.

We drive down to the studio and walk in.

"Hey there, my shinning stars!" The director says.

"Hi," I smile,"I'm Scarlett and this is Max and Harvey." I point form Max and Harvey.

"Okay, Max wears a hat and Harvey doesn't." The director smiles,"Should be easy."

The director introduces us to a bunch of the other actors.

My 'Worst enemy' is a cliche blonde girl with blue eyes.

Max and Harvey of course(You guys probs already know what they look like but, oh well)

My pretty older sister in the tv show

And of course me-

"Okay. So here's your scripts." The director hands the scripts to all of us.

"Scarlett. Your in the first scene with your sister but, in this show your name is Blake. Sarah your her older sister and your name is Rachel. Max and Harvey, you are now Kyle and Axel. And lastly, Brynn, Your Blake's enemy and your name is McKenzie"

I open my script to the first page. We all read through the first 10 pages and then we get to talk to each other so we can 'bond'.

"So your Scarlett?" Brynn frowns at me.

"Yeah.And your Brynn?" I smile.

"Yup." She rolls her eyes at me and turns to Harvey. "So, your Harvey?" She smiles and starts twirling her hair.

"Umm...yeah. I'm Harvey, Scarlett's boyfriend." Harvey wraps his arm around my waist.

"Well, if you two don't work out you'll know where to find me." She winks and then walks over to what seems like her friends that are waiting for her.

I roll my eyes, "I know why she got the part of my enemy now." 

Sarah walks up to us, "Hey, I'm Sarah. I'm so happy that I'll be acting with you. You seem pretty cool." She smiles at us.

"Thanks you seem cool too." I smile back at her. "I'm Scarlett and this is Max and Harvey."

"Hey." They say in unison.

Back at the house-

"So did you guys have fun?" Mrs.Mills asked since she stayed in the car with Tilly and Leo.

"It was really fun besides that one girl." I roll my eyes and Mrs.Mills laughs.

"Well, it's good that you guys had fun." Max,Harvey,and I walk upstairs to Harvey's room and go over our scripts.
