Author's POV:
The rain kept hitting the window in Jin's and Taehyung's room and a lightning showed itself on the dark grey sky. Some brown, red and yellow leaves were flying around with the storm, making clear that autumn already arrived.
It was a Sunday evening and Jin sat on his bed, that was filled with stuffed animals and a plate with two large slices of pizza, cuddling with the small teddy bear Namjoon gave him and chatting and laughing on the group chat, called 'BTS', which the giver of the bear created.
Taehyung on the other hand was sitting on the edge of his plain bed near the window, watching the little raindrops fighting against each other.
There were many things Taehyung didn't like. One of this was rain.
"Tae. Hey Tae! Are you listening to me?" The voice of his brother brought him back to the present and he stared now at the older male.
"You didn't listen right? I asked you if you want to have a slice of pizza?" The latter cheerfully said.
"No, thanks hyung, I'm not hungry." With this words he continued to watch the raindrops fight on the window.
Jin sighed but let it slight, the latter knew his younger brother ate less, so he was worried about him, but what should he do? Force him? That didn't work once, nor to ask politely. The younger just listened to him, when he saw that Jin was really upset about his stubbornness.
"Tae, come here", the older one gestured with his free hand to himself, so the other would come and indeed, he did it almost immediately.
After a while of silence, the only noise coming from Jin's tapping on his mobile, the older broke the silence and put his phone away.
"You are still afraid of storms right?" Taehyung only nodded and snuggled up to Jin, to which his brother smiled and patted the others head.
After another period of silence, Taehyung decided to ask something which interested him very much, "Hyung, do you like this Namjoon guy?"
Jin's eye's widened and a light blush could be seen on his face.
"Uhm, I-I don't know. I think he is just a good friend, y-yea."
"Hyuung", the younger whined,
"You don't have to hide your feelings in front of me. You can tell me everything and I will be happy for you. You know, there is actually something which bothered me for quite a while now."
After those words, he looked with big puppy eyes to his brother, who replied the look confused and a bit worried.
"Tae, whatever it is, you can always tell me you know? I don't want you to be sad or bothered by something."
"I know hyung and that's actually the thing I'm concerned about."
The older furrowed his brows confused, "What do you mean?"
"You were always there for me to make sure I was ok. You always worried about me more than you did to yourself and you never really thought about anyone else than me. You always put yourself behind me."
"Tae, that is because you are my only family and I love you so much as my little brother. Are you worried that I won't find love because I care to much for you?"
The smaller nodded and bit his lower lip, "You don't have to look after me the whole time. I love you too, but I also think you should start to follow your own feelings and go for the person who you like, because hyung I can tell that Namjoon hyung is also interested in you."
"Yah! Don't say that! He isn't interested in me."
"Yea sure, if you say so hyung", the younger rolled his eyes and both chuckled.
It was almost eleven pm as the two ended their serial which Jin liked so much and decided to sleep. As they went to their bed, Taehyung was to sleepy, so he almost immediately fell asleep if Jin didn't spoke up in the dark room, "Taehyung, there is also something on my mind, which kept bothering me...You don't socialize and I really want you to have friends. These guys you met this week seemed to be nice, especially Jungkook. You talked with him for a long time. Please try to befriend with them. Can you promise me that you will at least try it?"
To tired to think, his younger brother hummed which satisfied the older and both went to dreamland.
02:34 am:
"NO! Please! Don't do it!", slap, "Please. I will do anything but don't-", another slap echoed in the room, the room which Taehyung hated so much. But nothing could be compared to the man in front of him who just looked angered at the poor boy with is injection in the one and a knife in the other hand.
"Shut up you bastard! No one will ever come to safe you, so shut up! You're worth nothing, you are just my experiment, a monster no one likes."
With that he stepped closer to the trembling boy.
"Tae...Tae..."
"Taehyung! Please wake up! You are trembling!"
The called boy shot his eyes open, tears were streaming down and his heart beat so fast. He sat up and hugged the older, only to cry harder.
"It's fine Tae, no one will hurt. I'm here, I will protect you."
Slowly, but surely the younger relaxed in his hyung's arms and feel in a deep slumber.
