Splinter's P.O.V
Splinter paced around the lair anxiously. It was now reaching close to 6 a.m. and sunrise approaches close to 7.
'The boys should have been home hours ago! They only stay out this late if something big was happening but they always let me know this.'
"What could have happened to make my sons so late?"
Splinter asked himself pulling on his beard, feeling dread spread through his whole system and he clenched his hands.
April! She should know what happened.
Splinter walked into his room and grabbed the cheese phone, dialling the number April left them on our fridge anxiously. Four rings and she answered.
"Hello..?" Her tired voice came through.
"April, it is me, Master Splinter." He greeted anxiously, gripping the phone harder than he meant to. Splinter heard April sudden shift on the other line.
"Master Splinter? What's wrong?" She asked nervously.
'Splinter never called anyone other than his sons and even then only in emergencies.' Her thought going crazy.
"I am sorry that I called at a bad time." Splinter apologized.
"No, Not at all Sensei. I was just getting ready for school. What's wrong?" She repeated and Splinter felt guilty about taking her away from her life and studies.
"My sons went out on patrol last night and have not come back yet. Do you know their location?" He asked, trying to calm his spirit. There was another pause.
"They left my house around 11:30 last night. I only heard that they wanted to check out the city before bed." She admitted and Splinter's heart jumped. "They haven't come home?" Her small voice asked cautiously, worriedly.
"No." Splinter breathed, feeling very scared for his sons' conditions.
"Maybe they just had a fight and are caught up in it...?" April stuttered. "We haven't seen the other mutants or Kraang since we took back the city..."
"Indeed." Splinter sighed while rubbing his face anxiously. "April I am very sorry to ask this of you, but will you and Casey check around for me. I am not able to do this because of the sunrise."
"Of course Sensei! It's only one day off school and I know Casey will be thrilled! We'll be there as soon as we find something!" April promised to cause Splinter to sigh as relief coursed through me.
"Thank you, my child." Splinter replied and they hung up. Splinter looked at the picture he had of Tang Shen and Miwa while feeling dread pump into his system again.
'Something was not right here... I need to try and contact their spirits!'
"Please don't take any more family from me." Splinter pleaded with anyone being who might be listening.
Michelangelo's P.O.V
"SHREDDER, LEAVE HIM ALONE YOU HEAR ME?!" Raph screamed while shaking the bars. Mikey looked up, his eyesight blurry. It's been a couple of hours since Shredder decided to take Donnie. They all heard more yelling and the sound of flesh meeting flesh.
'They were hitting him!' Mikey whimpered to himself.
Donnie cried out in protest and pain.
Mikey whimpered and hugged himself deeper. 'Please help Donnie, please help Donnie.' He fretted in his mind. Mikey looked up and saw Leo staring at the ground, his eyes glazed over and that was almost just as scary. "L-Leo...?"
