The uniform of Wasteland Academy of Science's college department is really pretty. Since they only offer two courses—BS Biology and BS Chemistry, they provided two different designs and paid attention to the details. Long sleeves and skirt for the girls, button down shirt and slacks for the boys. Both has gold pins that indicates the school and their college department.

Biology students wears a tone down forest green uniform like how appealing leaves, trees and nature are to the eyes. Looking at them, you could tell there is life and they are living.

Chemistry students wears a darker shade of green, more solid and mysterious like how unpredictable elements can affect a life.

Both have significant meaning but the students of each department made it seem like they came from two different schools.

Chandler and I immediately find a seat to the right side.

There is an obvious rift between the Biology and Chemistry students. Wala pa akong nakitang nag-uusap o kahit batian man lang. Parang dalawang magkaaway na angkan. Our seniors said it's been going around since years now and no one knows the exact reason why. Some said it's pure competition, but some said it's definitely more than that and it has something to do with the nightmare happened five years ago.

Part of me is telling me to believe it because there are a few possible evidences.

Part of me says no because no matter hard you dig up that issue, there is no factual information.

All I have is the literary book Zoe wrote.

I have no idea with the history and no one wants to tell folklores either.

Five years ago... wala pa ako rito sa Wasteland. I wasn't born and raised here. Chandler and his parents found me outside an orphanage in the Philippines and they adopted me. Then we migrated here in this island.

Chandler's parents, they can't have kids that's why they adopt children. And I am very glad that they found me because ever since, I was in good hands.

The Monthly Talk have started and the guest speaker was introduced. He's Dr. Valencia, a licensed physician from the Philippines. And the topic for this month is about dreams, as in the images occurring in a person's mind during sleep. The interpretation of dreams. How do dreams affects our mind. Why do dreams brings lucidity in our thinking.

Twenty minutes into the talk and I'm already yawning, I'm just trying my best to fight it. Not only because it's rude to yawn in front of a speaker, but also because something in me tells that I need to listen because this talk might be beneficial.

"Why remember your dreams?"

"Your dreaming mind has access to information that you do not have when you are awake. Your inner wants and sentiments may be revealed in your dreams."

"Ganda niya."

I stretched my neck, attempting to find the one he's talking about. All I see is people facing front, listening attentively to the speaker.
