Todaywas the day. The day I would finally do something I wanted to do forages. I would go and visit a convention. A supernatural convention, funny, I know. A hunter that is dealing with monsters in real lifeis going to a convention. Don't judge please. It was also the day Iwould finally be going to the States again after many, many years. You need to know, when I was a child, I was heading over to America,California actually. Do you want it more percised? I lived in MorenoValley and went to kindergarten there, preschool even, depends on howyou wanna call it. Since the moment we had to leave there because myfather found another job, we missed it and always wanted to go back.We had friends in California, tight friends that were kinda like myaunt and uncle. This was always the happiest part of my childhood andtoday I would finally go back there. Well, not actually to Californiabut to Las Vegas, the city where the convention would take place.Looking over my bags, making sure I had everything packed up, I slidinto my jacket and took my suitcase, walking out of my room andclosing my door. This would be my personal holiday. A convention, people to talk about monsters and not being looked at like a totalcrazy, swooning over the actors, especially Jared Padalecki. Enjoyingthe sun and finally go back home. To me, America had always been mytrue home, I belonged there no matter what people said. England waspretty close to this, I loved London, I loved the city and thepeople. I felt save and accepted there, not like in switzerland.London was pretty close to being home, I felt like that whenever Iwent there but nothing would ever compare to America. When I lookedat my family, I smiled softly. ''We'll see each other in a week guys, take care of you and don't forget to use the weapons if anythinghappens. Mom, remember to put salt on the doors and windows. And dad, make sure the demon traps are always there and secure, no scratch nonothing.'' I looked down at my little brother and kissed his cheek.''Take care of mom and dad while i'm gone, okay?'' my brother noddedand hugged me. I went over to hug my parents one last time and turnedaround to walk out of the door. I knew they would make it, they areused to this whole thing about protection but still, I was worriedwhenever I had to leave. Of course, I showed them how to use theirweapons and how to fight, I would train them just for extraprotection but still. Until now, nobody came after them but in casethey needed to fight, they would know how.

Finally at the airport, I put my camera back into my handbag andwalked over to where I would have to give up my suitcase. I had justvlogged for a little while, since this would turn into a vlogmas andI had to film as much as possible everyday, travel vlogs basically.Everything went smooth, even the security check in and I was gladwhen I finally reached the gate. Finally finding a starbucks, I stoodin the line to get some coffee before actually getting onto theplane. ''Hi, a medium latte, please. '' I ordered my coffee and itdidn't take them too long to make it. I grabbed my latte and when Iturned around, a man in a trenchcoat stood in front of me, smilingvery softly, if I wouldn't have known him, I wouldn't have noticedthe smile. ''Hey Cas, what are you doing here?'' I smiled and pulledhim into a hug, which he sturggled to respond to. I hugged the angeleverytime he came by, hoping that one day he would hug me back theway I did. I started to walk and Castiel quickly catched up. ''I waswondering abot you being at the airport. '' I shrugged and took a sipof my coffee. ''I told you I would go to Las Vegas today. '' Castielnodded knowingly, furrowing his eyebrows. ''Why are you flying? Youcould have called me, I could have brought you to the States in amatter of seconds. '' I smiled at him and walked over to where theboarding would start very soon. ''Yes but I like travelling and Ididn't want to bother you. You have better things to do than zappingme everywhere I need to be. '' Cas shook his head and sat next to meonto one of the chairs near my gate. ''You know that I would havedone this for you, Alice. You are my friend and it will not bother meif you ask me for a favour. '' Cas looked at me, his head titled tothe side. I chuckled and kissed his cheek. ''Let's stick with 'i liketravelling'then. '' The angel nodded and I looked up when a womanstarted to walk over to her desk, taking the first passangersthrough. I stood up and embraced Cas again. ''That's my move. I gottaget onto the plane. Promise me you will visit me in the hotel i'mstaying at, okay?'' Castiel nodded and looked at me. ''I will. Takecare of you Alice. '' I smiled and kissed his nose before turningaround to get to boarding. Even though Cas didn't smile, his facestraight and without any emotions, I knew he really meant it when hetold me to take care of myself. Of course he was concerned aswell, hewas concerned about everything I did, even if it was just simplyflying. Sometimes he would show it by a concerned look on his face, sometimes he would say some words that would make me notice that hewas actually worrying about me. He did care, for sure he did. Castielmay be awkward sometimes especially socially but he was a greatfriend and he was always there whenever I needed him. Either if itwas just about crying my eyes out over a stupid boy or struggling ina fight against monsters or even to hang out sometimes just because Iwas bored. I looked back at where Cas was just to see that he wasalready gone. Smiling to myself I walked through the tunnel and intothe airplane. This was going to be a beautiful break. No monsters fora whole week, no demons or kings of hell or whatever was out there.Just me, the convention, California and everything beautiful thatwould happen there.
