Dirty Little Secrets

It was then that Jare started to getpretty weird. He distanced himself from me every once in a while,telling me he would visit his sons when Jensen told me that thiswasn't what he was doing. I was scared as hell that he started seeinganother girl or something stupid like that. Let me tell you, neverhave I ever expected this and although I wasn't there and figured allof this out way, way later, I'm gonna tell you guys what happenedexactly so you will understand.

It was another night of Jared goingaway, leaving me all by myself in my house. We started working again,acting and playing our parts in the TV Show. We did a great job, thatwas for sure. Anyway, this is not about our time on set, this isabout what happened when Jare was trying to save me in a verydangerous way. He met with Charlie's spirit that one night in arandom park. She wasn't back in heaven because she figured she wouldwant to stay until the mark was gone, which I appereciated more thanshe thought I would. Anyway, this is about their little meet up.

''Hey Charlie.'' Jared said as heclimbed out of his car. ''Hey, it is you. In a pretty beat up coldpack.'' she joked about Jare's pretty damaged disgustingly baby bluecar. He used it so people wouldn't notice it's him. ''Okay but whyare we meeting here? I could've come to the death star. '' Charliesaid, smiling. Death star was her own little name for the bunker.''No, no. This is uhm...This is better actually. We're not gonna beworking in the bunker, so. '' Jare answered, looking to the ground.Charlie crossed her arms in front of her chest, making her bestbitchface. ''Uh huh.'' she just stated, looking up at the tall man.''What is this about again? You were kinda vage.'' she said,shrugging as she waited for an answer. Jared let out a sigh before hespoke up. ''Okay, so here is the thing. Alice is not getting anybetter. I feel like if we don't get the mark off her arm, it's gonnaeat her up.'' he started to explain to the red head. ''I get itbut...What are we gonna do about it?'' Charlie asked. ''I got aholdof a codex. Which is some sort of a collection of supernatural codebreaking tools and It should help crack the book of the damned.'' Jayexplained further. ''That would be awesome if the book...you know,still exsited. '' Charlie said with a half smile. ''It does.'' Jaystated and saw how the red head's face was literally falling apart inshock. You guys get where I'm going, right? Stay with me, here comesthe interesting part. Jared turned his back to Charlie, not able tolook at her. ''I uhm...I swapped it out right before it looked like Iburned it. '' he admitted, restingf his hands against his car tosupport his weight. He felt pretty bad about the whole thing but hehad to do it. ''Okay but Alice wanted it burn, so is she pissed?''Charlie asked, taking a deep breath in. Jare just stood there for amoment, not saying anything. He turned his head to his side to faceCharlie for a moment. ''Of course she doesn't know. Jeez the two ofyou.'' she complained, holding her head. ''Look, Charlie. She's notherself. She is not. She would try and stop me but she's given up. Icalled in an expert to use the codex but, turns out it's encode also,so I thought you might help move things along a little faster.'' Jayexplained but got interrupted by Charlie. ''Behind Alice' back? Aftershe told us the stupid book would kick our asses if we mess with it?Which by the way already happened to me. I mean is..is there any partof this that doesn't reak?'' she asked with a desperate look on herface. Alright guys, so here comes the bomb, be prepared, I was mostlyshocked about this fact. ''If it is to mention that you will workwith one of the most dangerous witches in the world.'' Jared statedwith a saracstic voice. Charlie let out a deep sigh and rolled hereyes before looking back at the actor. ''I don't know, Jared.'' shesaid. ''As far as I can tell, this is our only shot at saving her. Ifwe don't take it, she's gone.'' Jay mumbled with a sad expression,shrugging his shoulders. You guys can surely figure out yourselveswhat Charlie's answer was after he had said this. Of course it wasyes.

It was about an hour later when the redhead sat her Ipad onto one of the tables, typing in her password. ''Ithought I was clear, Jared. I require more time, not an assistent.''Rowena snapped, her hands cuffed to a long metal chainsaw. ''And Ithought I was clear, Rowena. Charlie's not your assistent. You arehers.'' Jare explained and looked over to the red haired girl who wasnow smiling.''And you studied your craft, where?'' Rowena asked in apissed tone. ''A cafe that's called Jawa Java. Excellent wifi.''Charlie answered with a bitchy smile. ''I have not heard of thisinstitution. And I know all the great global centers of witchcraft.''the red haired witch snapped. ''Makes sense cause I'm not a witch,I'm a nerd. And I know all the great centers of nerdtum'' Charlieshot back. Rowena rolled her eyes in pure disgust and Jared spoke upin a warning tone. ''Rowena, are you done barking? Listen, Charliehas something that will help with Nadia's codex. You will work outthe spell stuff and I will put the mess together in the end.'' Jayexplained when Cas nearly stormed through the door of their littlesecret location. Cas, you heard right guys. Castiel was teaming upwith them aswell. My angel saviour and friend Castiel. ''Cas, are youin on this too?'' Charlie asked as she looked up. The angel justshrugged slightly. ''More distractions? What are you? Witch ornerd?'' Rowena asked with her scottish accent. Cas walked down thestairs, getting closer to the little crew. ''Angel.'' he stated.''Parton?'' the witch asked in disbelief. ''Castiel has powers.Spiritual muscle. That helps save guard the work.'' Jay explained,asking himself why he was so calm, explaining everything to everyone.Maybe it has been the desperate need to save me. ''Save guard it fromwhat?'' Rowena asked. Jay turned around, looking at the red hairedwitch. ''You.'' he just said before turning back to Cas and Charlie.''I can't be here full time to reverade.'' Jared snapped. ''Oh well,and I can?'' Castiel asked, he seemed pretty tense. ''Yes, please.Please do this for me.'' the actor nearly begged, locking eyes withthe angel. Cas let out a sigh. ''Well, what are the rules?'' heasked. ''You know. Terms or reverie I should at least know them.''the angel explained further when Jay looked completely confused. Thiswas wrong. I wanted to avoid anything that happened just like in theTV show, wanted to save my people from their fate but for gods sake,how was I able to do that when they turned against me? I wanted tomake sure to do the exact opposite of what was happening inSupernatural but there they were, following every line and every wordof our prophet. ''Quite literal, aren't you? Does he know that thefirst rule is...'' Rowena started, putting her hand to her mouth tosupport her words. ''Don't tell your girlfriend what we're doing.''she said in a sing song voice. Cas looked over to Jared. ''Wait.Alice doesn't know?'' he asked in total disbelief. Jay shot a deathglare at Rowena who was just smiling to herself. ''Jared. This neverends well.'' the angel stated. Charlie pushed Cas in a friendly way.''That's exactly what I said.'' Castiel, not used to getting touched,just looked at the spot where the red haired had touched him. ''Okay,everyone take a breath.'' the actor demanded, taking a breathhimself. ''Look, we're up against it, okay?'' Jay explained as Jensencame in, walking over and standing next to his best friend and costar. ''We've all been up against it before and we know that thereare times every choice sucks. Now us...lying to Alice is the choicethat sucks the least. We have to make this work. Please.'' Jaybegged, looking at Cas and Charlie with a desperate look on his face.The red haired girl took a deep breath before speaking up. ''Okay,yea. For Alice. '' Charlie said with a nod. Jensen, Jared and Charlielooked over to the angel. ''Cas?'' Jensen asked, waiting for him toagree. ''For Alice.'' Cas agreed with another nod. ''Jensen?'' Jarelooked over to his best friend. ''Man I was in from the verybeginning although it sucks real bad.'' J explained, patting Jared'sshoulder for comfort. ''For Alice.'' Jay nodded, smiling a sad smile.He hated lying to me himself but he thought it was the only chance,man was he wrong but more about that later.
