After a few more days of following the stream, it became a very high waterfall, about 30 feet (or 10 meters) tall and 40 feet wide. With no means of safely going down, I decided to stray from the water, seeing as it was getting me nowhere.
A few days during my stay, I noticed my body was changing. Prior to the blast, I was not the most fit person on the street. Hell, I could barely run 50 feet without running out of stamina. I was also not very muscular, with most of my time baking sweets and having a massive sweet tooth, I managed to put on a little bit of weight. Now I can barely recognize myself. I had muscles that would make even Hercules jealous, with a strong physique, a six pack abs, and I could run for miles without taking a break. I can still feel my body changing even as we speak, like I was constantly evolving.
Eventually I made it to the edge of the forest, looking upon a long, dirt road that seems to be well traveled and was heading southeast. I decided to follow it for several hours before I heard the familiar with clip-clop clip-clop of horses hooves. It sounded like there were two of them pulling a carriage.
A carriage? Don't they have any cars wherever I am? I thought to myself
I looked back to see someone waving at me. Once the carriage got closer, I saw a beautiful woman. She had beautiful, long, brown hair, styled so that some came up into what looked like cat ears. She had lovely eyes, red face paint on both of her cheeks, and a cute smile that reminded me of a kitten.
"Hey. Would you like a ride? My friends and I are heading to a nearby town with an amusement park, wanna come?" Said the beautiful woman, who looked to be a couple years younger than me, maybe 16, 17 max. She spoke in a dialect that was not English, yet I understood every word, like it was translated into English as soon as she spoke.
"Uh... sure. That sounds great. Thanks." I said hopping into the cart with her. I noticed I was sitting on a cart filled with hay with two other people. One looked like a mafia member, but kinda blocky, like he was made out of pixels or early Nintendo game graphics. The other looked kind of shy, but was sharply dressed, had brown skin, blond hair, and was fiddling with a deck of cards.
"I'm Millianna, and this is Shô, and this is Wally." She said, pointing to the blond, and then the blocky, mafia guy.
"Hey. Nice to meet you." Said Shô.
"Hey, how you doin'," Said Wally, who almost made me laugh because of his New York mafia accent.
"Nice to meet you all, I'm Zach, and thanks for the ride. I've been in that forest for days," I said, grateful for the much needed rest.
"Don't mention it, and it's nice to meet you too. I hope we can be great friends," said Millianna with a smile that made my heart flutter and made me blush.
I spoke with the new people I met and figured out where I am. Apparently I was in a place called Earth Land, on the continent of Fiore. In this place, people could use magic at will. Naturally I was skeptical, seeing as how magic didn't exist, but seeing as how Wally looked like he was built out of Lego bricks, I decided not to say anything. I didn't reveal too much about myself and soon enough it was night time and I was getting sleepy.
Both Shô and Wally had fallen asleep, with Shô curled up and Wally sleeping while he was sitting up. Millianna leaned up against me and was sleeping the night away. I pulled out the crystal and stared at it. "What are you," I said to the inanimate object before putting it away and staring up at the night sky, slowly drifting off as a shooting star fell from the sky.
I was about to make a wish before dozing off with a dream of me with giant, gray, wolf like paws and running on all fours.
Little did I know that my wish would soon be granted without me knowing.
A/N: This story takes place shortly before the end of the 7 year Timeskip in Fairy Tail in an alternate timeline where Millianna is seen shortly before her joining Mermaid Heel.
