To make my new weapon, I needed a plan on what to make, the materials to make it, and how to make it. I left Blair outside because she was bored and decided to explore. After lots of trail and error, about three days worth to be exact, I decided on a sword.

To make the weapon, I needed the right materials. I needed something sturdy, flexible, and durable. However, none of the thousands of materials, none of them were the right one. I decided to make an alloy from three different materials. For durability, I decided on a metal called Adamantine. The information on it said that it was highly durable, so durable that it would take a massive amount of force to break it. The force varies on the shape the final product it. For flexibility I decided on orichalcum. I actually heard of this material when I was younger. It's a legendary material which an origin from Ancient Greece. Rumored to be so flexible it could be made it be made into the weapons demigods use against monsters. And for a base I used titanium.

I needed a place to work so I created a forge and smithy from the console. It was relatively easy and both workplaces came equipped with everything I need.
Making the alloy is what took a majority of the three days of work. To make it, I had to heat all the metals to white hot temperatures until they were almost liquid. The titanium was easy, all I had to do was raise the temperature to more than 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The Adamantine and orichalcum were an entirely different story. It took me over a dozen tries to get each to the right temperature. Then I used various hammers and tools to combine all three metals into one, which took a few hours. I then used the console to make copies of the new alloy that I created to account for the tedious sword making process that comes later on.
To make the sword itself, I took the alloy which had become one solid ingot at this point and put it in a furnace. This furnace was about ten times stronger than an ordinary one. This furnace was specifically made by the Room itself to account for the materials involved. Once the metal was up to temperature I took it to a power hammer where I maneuvered the hot metal different ways to make it into the proper shape. Then I reheated it and took it to an anvil where I hammered bevels into the piece to make the blade. Once that was done, I took it to some sanders to grind some of the scale off and make the blade nice and straight. However, the sword wasn't finished yet. It was still fragile so I need to heat treat it. I brought the blade to temperature and soaked it in a huge vat of oil. Heat treating allows the material to harden and makes it less likely to bend or break easily.
While that was soaking I needed to make the hilt, the part of the sword that you hold. To make it, I used some steel for reinforcement and some oak wood as a base. I made the oak into something I can grip easily. A few hours later I successfully made a one handed sword. And yet it still wasn't finished. I wanted to make some modifications to my creation.

I took the sword to a laboratory I set up and infused the sword with different magics and tech. For the magic I made it so I can bring out the blade whenever I want. To others the sword would be a simple hilt until I wanted use the sword. Then the blade would would be made from the hilt, like one of those chain swords you see on TV, except with magic and the blade won't be out at all times. Then I used technology to program the sword that only I can use it, when I somehow drop it with the blade out and an enemy wants to pick it up, the sword would deliver 10,000 volts of electricity directly into their hands. To keep up with the theme I made a scabbard, or sheath, out of some wood and hardened leather along with some excess steel. That would give the impression that I was holding a sword. I also programmed the blade so that I could turn the blade from sharp, to dull for non lethal blows, or to a laser bevel that can cut through pretty much anything. The sword won't be a lightsaber, but a metal sword with a laser edge.

I now had a new weapon. Sure I could have grabbed one from the armory, but there's nothing like using a sword you know inside and out.
With my masterpiece in its sheath and attached to a belt, I cleaned up the Room by pressing Clear on the console and everything except the sword disappeared. With that I left the Room and joined up with Blair. Turns out I was only gone for a few hours. I remember the hologram saying I can alter time in the Room, which is independent of any dimension I go to.

Little did I know that I would use this sword sooner than I thought.
