"Do you really have to go?" Said Millianna in an upset tone.
It's been two weeks with Millianna and the others. I haven't told them of my destiny, what I am. It would be too dangerous if anyone knew what I am. There would be people who would hunt me if word got out. I can't put anyone through that. I told them I need to find my own path, which isn't a total lie.
I said, "Yeah. Sorry, Millie. I wish I could join you in travels, but I have my own route to take." It broke my heart to say this to my new friends, but this is what must be done.
Millianna and the others got on a cart, heading for a city called Hargeon. Millianna waved at me until I couldn't see her anymore. I then gathered my things and walked down the same road the cart was.
I took out the Nexus and held it in my hand. "Alright, Nexus. Let's see where we go first."
It started to glow and float out of my hand and flew about three feet above the ground and went about six feet away before flashing and causing the air to shake and wave. Then a portal about eight feet in diameter opened up with no clear indication on what was on the other side. I looked around to make sure no one was around and stepped through the portal.

Once I stepped through the portal, I looked around to scan my environment. I could see sand, rock, and dryness as far as the eye can see. It looked to be nighttime, but when I looked up I almost screamed and fell back.
In the sky, instead of a normal moon, was a giant moon with a smile and a single eye. The scariest part was the the moon was laughing and had blood streaming from its mouth.

Once I regained my composure, I started walking towards a city in the distance. I started to feel woozy, could have been the trip here. Wherever "here" is. A guy in a cloak snuck up behind me and grabbed me.
"Don't worry. Just give me all your money and there won't be a problem," said the strange man who held a sword at my neck.
I don't know whether it was the nausea from the trip or the weird moon, but I suddenly started laughing.
"Hahahah.... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! That's funny! You think you'll hurt me?! Well we'll just see about that!" I said shortly before blacking out.
When I woke up it was morning and in the sky was a laughing sun. I was also in front of the city and had gotten a better look. Whoever build this city had some weird taste. There was a sign that said "Death City" with what looked like a skull.

My first thought was that the whole town was getting in the Halloween mood. My thoughts then went down to my body. What I saw made me scream in sheer fright. My whole body was covered in blood. My hands, clothes, and face were all covered in blood. And.... it wasn't even my blood. Just what happened last night?
