I was lead back to Providence in chains, literally. Then they held me at gunpoint to a holding cell where I was held for a few minutes. Then Six came in and looked at me with a look that demanded answers.

"Talk." He ordered.

"I will. I'll tell you everything, but I want everyone to know. This might change your lives." I said, my head down in shame.

Soon enough I was brought into Dr. Holiday's lab with Rex, Circe, Noah, Six and Holiday, a guy with a dark green jumpsuit who I assumed as Dr. Salazar, and Blaire was on my shoulder. The tension in the air was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Everyone had their arms crossed and rather than having a look of anger, they had looks that were mixes of curiosity and skepticism.

I took a deep breath and started to explain, "I'll start at the beginning..." I then proceeded to tell them everything. Who I am, what I am, what I do, and my abilities. Everyone had looks of fascination and wonder, and by everyone I meant Rex and Noah. Circe had an eyebrow raised, Holiday and Salazar each had a hand on their chins, taking in everything. Six still remained stoic.

"....and that's how I got here." I finished. I looked at a nearby wall clock and noticed half an hour went by.

"So explain that monster that nearly killed me." Circe said bluntly after a few minutes of silence.

"That was the Beast. It's a monster that feeds on those who have darkness in their hearts. It was a wish I made a long time ago to run like an animal. I never imagined this would happen. The eclipse had enough energy to free it early. I can't control it. When it comes out, I go unconscious. Even though I'm out of direct contact with the eclipse, I can still feel it's energy. The Beast inside me is slamming against its chains." I explained.

Everyone remained silent except Salazar. "Excuse me, but you said that magic exists. I have yet to see proof of that."

I look at Blaire, who nodded. I sighed, "Blaire, it's time. Show them."

"Oh, finally!" She said in excitement, which made almost everyone's eyes go wide. "It was getting boring being a regular old cat." She then jumped off my shoulder and landed on the floor, showing her human form with a puff of purple smoke.

"Amazing. So there is magic in the world." Said Salazar.

"Actually, there isn't any magic in this world. I sensed it as soon as I got here. Blaire here is from a world where magic does indeed exist." I pointed out.

"Cesar, hermano? I think you need to calm down a bit." Rex said to his brother, Dr. Salazar.

Rex then turned to me, "I'm curious. If you said you can copy someone's powers, how would you do that?"

"I haven't really tested it myself. But I think it has to shared willingly." I said.

Rex then did something unbelievable. He took out his hand.

"Rex?" We all asked.

"I wanna do a little experiment. What do you say, amigo?" He smiles.

I smile and shake his hand.

Just then I feel a huge jolt of energy flow through my body from his hand. It felt as though I was injected with cocain. It felt... incredible. I could feel one nanite from Rex's body move into mine. I felt my body make more through magic and each nanite was infused with that same magic, giving them a supercharge.

We both let go, breathing heavily. "Woah." We both said in unison.

"Incredible!" Exclaimed Holiday. She brought up a tool and waved it over my body. Then she looked at a monitor on her desk a few feet away.

"It seem Zach replicated Rex's nanites at the subatomic level. And they're somehow supercharged with an energy. Rex, he not only copied your nanites, but it looks like he modified them!" She said.

"Cool!" We both said.

I then felt an excruciating pain coming from my back. It was coming from two places in my shoulder blade region. The pain soon subsided and I noticed everyone was looking at me with astonished looks on their faces. They weren't looking at me, rather like behind me.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"You might wanna look in a mirror." Noah said, pointing to the window behind me.

I didn't need a mirror as I turned my head and saw the reason for my back pain. I gasped and my eyes nearly came out of my head.

Sprouting from my back was a pair of dark, metallic wings. They weren't in the shape of wings, they were legitimate wings, feathers and everything. But instead of natural feathers like you see on a normal bird, they were as if they were normal feathers dunked into a vat of metal paint. The total wingspan was more than 12 feet, at least.

This is new.
