I stare at him in disbelief. Only for the doors to burst open again "You're lying!" Logan speaks, "tell me you're lying!" She yells. "I'm sorry." Magnus sighs. "No. I'm not believing this child will kill me Jocelyn survived." "Logan this is different." "How!" She yells, "if anything I'm stronger than Jocelyn I can handle this." I walk to her placing my hand on her shoulder, but she pushes me off. "You believe him don't you!" Her eyes start to glisten. I try to tread carefully with my words as she seemed almost possessed by anger. "I believe that I'm going to choose you over that child." "That child!" She yells again. "Stop Logan." "Stop what? Wanting our child." "No Logan stop being in-denial." "In denial!" She scoffs "Alec you're in-denial." "Nice come back." Magnus grumbles. "I'm going back." She grabs her jacket from the back of the sofa. "Where!" I exclaim after her. "Back to valentine!" She shouts. "Magnus. The doors." I whisper. She's about to walk out when the door slams. "You can't keep me here!" She snaps. "We can and we will." I say folding my arms. "Please Alec." She starts to cry, this was Logan as an emotional wreck. I crouch down looking to her. "I'm so scared, I don't feel myself. It's like I'm watching all this happening and I have no control. I can't help my baby, I can't help you or Jace I'm not the kick ass Logan I want to be."

"Hey, hey." I tilt her head up to look at me "you are incredible, look at you and what you're fighting through. So what you're a soon to be mother you are kick ass and our baby has you to learn from. And me to teach them how to fight." She chuckles as I wipe the tears from her cheek. "I love you." I speak pressing my forehead against hers. "I love you too." She smiles weakly. "Come here." I say helping her up giving her a hug, as I feel her cry again into my chest her hands gripping my back. I look to Magnus and he looks from us.

"I believed that they would be ok. That we could fix this." She sighs. "I'll make us a drink." Magnus says causing me and Logan to look to him "a non alcoholic one!" I walk with her to the sofa and we sit down. She wipes her eyes "Do you think I should let the Clave sort this?" She asks. "I don't know." Magnus passes her a glass, and me one with a different thing in. "I don't want them to hurt you. But I don't want our child to hurt you." I say. And after a while of just general chat she falls asleep leaning on me. I pick her up carrying her to the spare room, tuck her in, before kissing her head and walk back into the living room. I walk to the couch picking up my jacket. "Alexander join me for a drink?" He asks. "I'm going to find Valentine." I state grabbing my seraph blade. He places his glass down walking to me "It's too dangerous." "So is not knowing what me and Logan are dealing with." "You're dealing with a psychopath of a man." He exclaims grabbing my arm. "Don't stop me from doing this." I push his arm off continuing to walk. "It will destroy Logan if anything happens to you." I stop turning to him. "It will destroy me if anything happens to her." I open the door slamming it as I walk. I pull out my phone calling Jace hoping someone would pick up. "Alexander." The voice echoes through the speaker. "I need to talk to you." "What do I owe this pleasure?" He asks. "Meet me at the docks. I'll come alone if you come alone too." "I don't do bargaining." His voice says. "I'll be at the docks at seven." I end the call and set off.
