It's raining outside, ugh, I hate rain. Darkens my mood. It's not doing great for me cuz Lorna's still in jail. I miss her. So much. But I'm not getting her back anytime soon, Strucker's been shot. Which means no way to get her.
"Marcos," John appears at the doorway. I turn to him."Someone's just come in. She knows you." I sigh and walk with him to the lobby.
When we walk down the stairs, I can't believe my eyes.
"Gi! Gi, oh my god!" I yell as I run to her.
"Marcos," she shows me a weak smile and I hug her. "Marcos," she cries into my chest. She was always shorter than me, I used to tease her about it all the time. Time...eight years ago...
"Woah, careful," I cautioned as I caught Gigi quickly before she fell.
"S...so...so tired..." her voice was barely a whisper.
"How did you get here?" I ask.
"Long story. I-" Gi's foot slipped and I caught her again. "I have information on...on...Lorna..." her eyelids were growing heavy.
"Wait, Lorna? Gi, Gi!" Gigi was out cold and I held her fragile body in my arms. John bolted to my side.
"John, tell Caitlyn we need room," I told him. He nodded and went running towards the Infirmary as I lifted Gigi.
Rushing into the Infirmary, I lay my sister down on the cold metal table that passed off as a bed.
"What happened?" she asked worriedly.
"I don't know she just...collapsed..." I told her. Caitlyn prepared her stethoscope
"Who is she?" Andrew, Caitlyn's son asked as she checked Gigi's heartrate.
"She's my sister, Gianna,"I replied. Caitlyn paused for a moment.
"You have a sister?" Andrew asked. I looked at him, annoyed at his obvious question.
"How old is she? I need to know her age to give her a diagnosis," Caitlyn asked.
"She's..." I don't even know her age. "Um...she's 15."
Caitlyn takes an IV drop and insirts the needle into Gi's flesh. At that moment, I realised that Andrew was staring at Gi.
"Kid," he turned to me abruptly. "Stop staring at my sister." I warn.
"R...right," he stammers.
"Andy, go find Lauren and see if she needs any help," Caitlyn says and he nods, leaving the room.
When he leaves, I hang my head between my legs.
"What was that all about?" Caitlyn asks.
"I just...I don't want her to get hurt," I tell her and she gives me the look.
"By Andy?" she asks incredulously. I sighed.
"When I was 13, I lived on the streets. I survived on my own after being rejected by my father. Gi, she was...crushed when I'd left. And I was worried about her. I watched after her for about a year, never straying away but always outta sight. And after a few months, I saw that she had found a boyfriend. She wa s always hanging with him. They were close. But after three weeks, Gianna found out that her boyfriend was cheating on her. With her best friend," I sneaked a glance at Caitlyn to see her reation. She was covering her mouth with her hand.
"She was really, really broken then. Gianna never left the house for months. I couldn't stand just...watching. So..." I trailed off.
"You left," Caitlyn finished.
"Yeah," I breathed. I looked her in the eye. "Caitlyn, I won't leave her again. I will take care of her, one thing I couldn't do last time.
