Gigi runs to me and sits opposite me on the table.
"What happened, Marcos?" she asks, worried. "Please, talk to me," she pleads.
"I...Okay...," I can't hide this from her forever. I tell her everything that Dad told me.
"This is...a lot," she breathes.
"Yeah," my voice falters as she leans back in her chair.
"So... what are we going to do?" she asks.
"We wait like he said to," I tell her. She opens her mouth to protest but I stop her. "Gigi, there's nothing else we can do," she drops her gaze and I sigh.
"How are things with you and Andy? You glad he's back?" I ask and she gives me a shocked look. "What?" I ask her.
"We...we broke up," she says sadly.
"Oh...oh, Gigi," I walk over to hug her.
"I...It's okay, really. I'm over it," she smiles.
"Really?" I ask and she nods.
"Tony showed me what love really is,"
"Tony? As in 'Tony Rheese'?" I ask.
"Yeah, him. I think I just might love him, Marcos," she has her smile on and I couldn't be more happy to see it again.
"I'm very happy for you, truly. I hope he takes care of you, Gigi. Or he has something else coming," I warn and she laughs.
"You're the best, Marcos,"
