I play with my hair and wait for the guy. I don't know what his name is, the lady just told me to wait. Tony has his usual smirk on his face and looks around. Pretty sure he's reading minds. I roll my eyes.

"Hey, are you Diane and Tony?" a large, hulking man asks as he approaches us.

"Who's 'askin?" Tony asks.

"John Proudstar, Thunderbird," he said. "Clarice told me about your powers. We're trying to hunt someone down and your powers might be of some help to us," This is the guy.

"Okay. What do you want us to do?" I ask.

"We're still figuring that out but we'll let you know. You guys just chill here, we don't have a lot of room in the Underground," he explains.

"'Kay," I nod and he leaves us. I turn to my brother and he's staring at someone. Or some people. "What're you staring at?" Tony nods to the family on the next level, sitting at a table, eating breakfast.

"See that white-haired girl and the boy? They're a couple," Tony says. I look at the boy.

"Dang, he's cute," I say. "You like the girl?"

"Definitely," he rubs his chin nonchalantly.

"Dude, they're together," I say.

"Yeah, but they've hit a rough patch in the relationship, that might be an opportunity," Tony explains.

"And why would we try to break 'em up?" I ask incredulously.

"It's fun, ain't it?" he does have a point. "Actually, there's my opportunity now," he smirks as the girl leaves the table and heads out back. He gets up.

"Go 'head," I shoo him away.

"Cover me?" he asks.

"Always," he leaves, satisfied with my answer and I sit there alone. But I still feel his presence. He is here. In my mind. He's always here.
