~the next day~
Gianna looks at me with her beautiful blue eyes as I'm about to leave with Lauren, Marcos, Lorna, Clarice and Diane. She hugs me so tight like she doesn't want to let go. When she does though, she strokes my cheek and smiles a sad smile.
"Don't die, okay?" she jokes.
"I won't," I promise her and we kiss. "I love you," I tell her.
"I know," she smiles and kisses me again. "Be careful,"
"Geez, you're starting to sound like my mom," I joke and she laughs. "I'm gonna miss you."
"I'll miss you too," she says and kisses me. "Come back soon," I nod and she lets go of me. She moves to Marcos and says something, hugging him. Mom and Dad come over and hug Lauren and me and tell us to stay safe. After a long while of farewells, we all leave and Gianna waves at me.
I wave back and she smiles.
I can never forget her smile.
