When I wake up and head to Gianna's room to check on her. On the way, I see Andy sitting on the steps, head in hands. I walk over to him and sit beside him.

"Hey, man. Everything okay?" I ask and he looks up.

"Not really," he answers.

"Is it Gigi? Is she okay?"

"She...she's.... I calmed her down yesterday and she got some sleep," he says.

"Oh, then that's great. Why are you so upset?" I ask him.

"She...I told her that I liked her,"

"Oh. What did she say?"

"She said she liked me,"

"That's good, isn't it?"

"Yeah, I guess...," he trails off. There's a minute of silence. "She said we couldn't be together. And I told her I loved her."

"Woah," I muse. This is...different. "That's hard, bro. Listen, Gigi's uptight about these things. Her ex-boyfriend cheated on her. She doesn't trust many boys with her heart nowadays."

"O...oh," he stammered.

"Andy, I'm happy that she's spending time with you. I've never seen her happier. I don't know about love, but she definitely likes you," I smile.

"Thanks, man," he says and returns the smile. I pat him on the shoulder.

"No problem," I say and resume my walk to the office.

John is in the office, talking to someone with a worried look on his face. When he sees me, he dismisses the man with a pat on the back and faces me.

"The press about Gigi again," I ask and he nods.

"Yeah, but not only that. There's word of a man on the streets killing cops," he tells me. "He's a mutant, has fire powers too," John tells me.

"Cop killer? A bit too cliche, don't you think?" I say.

"Yeah, well. You're gonna wanna see this, Marcos," he passes me a file. I look at him warily and open the file. In it's a picture of...of...oh, god...

"...Dad...,"
