Part 58-Home (Part One)

Quick Note: I'm gonna be doing Adam and Anna's POV's from part 58-81. I find it easier. :)

[Anna's POV]

A sigh escaped my mouth as scanned my surroundings. The village was ruined. We have been in the safe house for a month. Now it's the end of June, beginning of July. Adam's birthday is in a few days. During the storm and the past few months, we lost the majority of our missionaries. Beth died from falling in a hole, our cook, Samuel died from a sickness, and everyone else got killed by the storm. Apparently me and David didn't count our people that good. It was our fault for all of the dead missionaries. At the beginning of the trip we had about one hundred people. Now we have about twenty left and we have two more months left. I'll be glad when I am able to go home and see Adam. I bet he's having a fun time.

[Adam's POV]

"I AM NOT HAVING A FUN TIME!!!" I shouted at Jasper and Selene

Ow. Ow. Bad idea. Really bad and stupid idea! I thought to myself. I knew better to yell, my headache got worse. Jasper and Selene somehow managed to keep me knocked out for two months or so. I grunted angrily at them. They smiled and Jasper slapped my face. I do believe that he is enjoying this. I thought he was my friend!

"Jasper, why are you doing this?" I whispered

"What was that Adam?" He said while putting his hand to his ear," I couldn't hear you. Could you speak up?"

I ignored him. He brought his hand up to slap me again but Selene stopped him. I gave a weak smile to her. I looked down at myself. Cuts and bruises were on my legs. Since it was warm out Jasper put shorts on me, which seemed very disturbing. My arms were still tied behind my back and attached to a chair. I didn't care what happened to me as long as Anna was safe. Jasper raised an eyebrow at me and he smiled.

"You're thinking about Anna aren't you?" He asked

"How do you know that?"

He laughed. "You have that look that says 'I'm thinking about Anna' "

I didn't answer. Instead, I tried to move forward, I turned my body from right to left and I moved an inch. Sighing heavily, I kept trying. Jasper saw what I was doing and he kept backing up. I froze when his phone rang. He answered it and held it away from his face. He's getting a FaceTime call? I heard something about Anna and Panama. I remembered Jasper saying something about his friend David.

"ANNA?!" I shouted ignoring the message my head was sending me and my head hurt.

Jasper put the phone to my face. I saw Anna. She saw me.

[Anna's POV]

I saw Adam on the screen.

"Hi Adam," I said

"Hey Anna. You'll never guess-"

Adam got cut off short. Jasper punched him in the face and he fell backwards. My eyes grew wide in fear. Adam was tied to a chair?! I started yelling into the phone and telling Jasper if he kills Adam he'll be sorry. Jasper laughed then he told David to get me and he'll know what to do. What?! David put his phone in his pocket and came towards me. I started running away. David caught me and started tying my wrist together. Then my feet. I started screaming. I saw Annie come out and start crying and ran after me. I told her to stay put. She listened and watched me be dragged off. I continued to scream as David dragged me away and threw me into the back of a jeep. I was on the ground and got tossed around as he drove away from the village. Where are we going? We went on this big bump and my head slammed against the floor. I lost consciousness.

[Adam's POV]

When I woke, I was on the ground still tied to the chair. I didn't know how long I was out. I screamed in frustration. I want to go home! I want a normal life with out death threats every month! Tears flowed down my face. I got myself together when Jasper came in. He got me up. I hung my head and avoided eye contact with him. Jasper grabbed my hair and yanked my up head up so I looked at him. I hated him.

"If you hurt her I will-"

"I know what you'll do, Adam. Oh and by the way. You have a choice. Either you die or she dies. Or both. Oh wait. David," Jasper called into the darkness. A man came out and held Anna. I forced back a yell. She had a sack on her head and her wrists and feet were tied up,"Untie her."

David untied her and removed the sack. Instantly, she turned around and punched David. I smiled. The she turned around and saw me. Anna yelled and ran to my side.

"Hey, Anna" I told her.

"Hey, Adam" she replied then she lightly kissed me on the cheek.

Jasper cleared his throat and we both looked at him. He had Selene take Anna and hold her. Jasper glared at me and brought out a knife. I screamed and did my best to get away. As I half scooted half hopped, the ropes loosened. I shouted in victory as I got the chair off me and rubbed my wrists and legs. That victory was short lived. In one swift move Jasper had his arm around my neck and his other arm he put the knife to my throat. I didn't breath. He made me walk over so me and Anna faced each other. Her face was a mix of emotions. I opened my mouth to speak but Jasper nicked my throat. I kicked Jasper and he dropped the knife. I turned around, picked up the knife, and pinned him on the ground.

"Now or never Jasper Nephew. Do I end your life or spare it?" I spat at him.
