[Jamie's POV]
It was the last inning the the tee ball game. I was up to bat. I got ready to hit the ball and looked at Dad, who was our coach, he got down on one knee and tossed the ball. i swung and missed. I heard Mom behind me say to keep my eye on the ball. Dad tossed another one. This time I swung the bat and smacked the ball. I ran to first base, then to second, then to third and finally all the way home. I grabbed my bat and walked towards the dugout. Next up was Eliot, my brother who only has one arm. We're both six years old. Before he went to up to bag he didn't look to good. I watched as he went up to home plate. He has a special bat, and by special I mean those lightweight plastic bats. Dad tossed the ball and he missed. Then he tried again. He still missed.
"You can do it, Otty!" I shouted encouragingly.
Otty is Eliot's nickname that we gave him. Dad tossed it one last time and he missed. Then Eliot got to use the tee. He hit the ball and ran down the first base line. As he did, Eliot tripped and fell to the ground. Everyone waited for him to get back up. He pushed up in attempt to get up but ended up going back down. Dad went over to him and rolled him over on his back. Dad yelled my name and asked for a water bottle. I grabbed one and ran out. My heart pounded in my chest as I went across the field. I reached Dad and handed him the water bottle. Eliot's eyes were opened but he wasn't responding to what Dad was saying. Eliot looked at me.
"Jamie what's going to happen?" Eliot said
"I'm not sure, Bro."
Since we're twins we can communicate in with each other using telepathy. Dad put the water in his mouth. After a few minuets the color came back to Eliot's cheeks. I told him he was dehydrated. Dad stood up and brushed the dirt off his pants. I helped Eliot up and back to the dugout since the it was over. Then the kids started picking on him.......
