Folks! *Hugs*
I just raised the bar of procrastination again! Apologies. But you should know, this was unplanned. Life was running and I was staggering. Anyhow, having found semblance a writer's block plagued me. Club that with inability to find time to even sign in, you guys were left hanging. I will try to solve the irregularity bit.
Let's get on with this chapter, Qaasid. The word holds a lot of depth, it means Messenger. The last chapter saw Suman erring again leaving Shravan heartbroken. We saw Ramnath and Nirmala's dynamics and their son's thoughts regarding the same. I read many comments where most of you were unpleased that Suman was at it again. Given, she was wrong. But wasn't that how she always was? Her insecurities always shaped up as her anger bringing doom to their relationship. What I'm trying to do here is nip it in the bud. Solve that problem early on to curb the ramifications. Shravan getting back at her was a necessity to make him less venomous as he grows. More self assured and self reliant. I hope that clears their behaviour a bit. So what's with Qaasid? Who's the messenger and for whom? And what purpose does this person hold in the story? Some may have guessed it but for all of you that haven't, read on to find out. This chapter is shorter than usual but it's true to it's core. I hope you guys enjoy this!
QAASID
"Shrav?" Questioned Eric befuddled, "What the hell are you doing here? You're supposed to be resting, I would have shared the notes.." Giving Shravan a hand seeing him struggling with the bag and a sling. He narrowed his eyes when Shravan didn't respond. "I asked a question you know?" He spoke softly.
Shravan let out a sigh, "Yes and I heard it quite clearly."
"Hmm..." Hummed the confused dork, "And your response to said question is?"
"What does it look like?" Quipped the annoyed boy. "I'm going to class!"
Eric was a bit taken aback by the irritability in his docile friend's tone, "That doesn't sound like its only cause of pain... Why are you so salty? Did something happen?" he probed.
Shravan didn't know why he was flaring up in the given moment, Eric wasn't at fault but his temper was out of it's wits, "What is your problem man?" Yelled he.
"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Calm down dude." Eric tried in vain to douse the fire he knew not the depths of.
"Don't fu**ing tell me to calm down." Shravan said, letting all his agony be dumped on his best friend.
Eric looked at his hooded eyes trying to make sense of this sudden brashness and he abused too, something was very off, "Shravan, Bro, what is it?"
"You need to know everything right? You gain some sadistic pleasure in my pain! You push me to the edge always! Why can't you just trust me Sumo!" No sooner had the words left his mouth that he realized he was yelling at the wrong friend.
Eric pursed his lips, nudged his head and started to walk towards the class holding on to Shravan's books. He walked a few steps, stopped, turned and arched his eyebrows, "Coming? We are going to be late.."
