My lovely people!
How are we?
I'm still reeling from Nejaat and didn't know if I should leave it there or continue the story... Yeah don't come for the neck. It looked pretty good a point to be left off at. I thought I could do an epilogue and the story would stand complete. But then it felt like there should be a little more. Like I'm not done with their story just yet. And so, because my heart yearns, I'm here to continue it.
This one is called Qainaat, meaning Universe. I'm here with a fluff... I just felt like taking the cake, baker and bakery, hook, line and sinker all of it to the romantic department. Anyone that wishes to say "Too much fluff", say it now. I'm planning for a slightly lasting phase of it. * Spoiler Alert *, maybe not! So Universe, whose? Let's see.. A certain dialogue is popping in my head, "Kisi cheez ko shiddat se chaho toh poori Qainaat tumko usse milaane ki sazish karti hai.." I don't know why, the dialogue popped :p
I wasn't supposed to update today, but someone I love really needed this so.. Let's take this forward then. Pace will become slower again. You have been warned, though I'm sure no one plans on complaining :p Having said that, word of caution, this is an unusually long update.
Sitting at her desk in PCT, she had her finances all worked out. Making a call to a dealer of used cars, she called her jeweler to let him know she was to pay a visit to him in the far end of the evening.
Sighing she felt she had one last thing to take care of, so she dialed Eric and asked for his help. Being the guy he was, he jumped at the mere mention of Suman wishing to visit London. "I'm sending the tickets!" He had exclaimed.
"Hold your horses Eric!" She smiled. "I can afford the tickets; I have made amends. I need help with the visas. As soon as humanly possible."
Eric nodded, "No issues." He turned to look around to make sure no one heard him. "My Dad was working for the consulate general before he retired, he can make a few calls and all of it can be arranged in no time." He spoke confidently. "I will need a scan of your passport."
"And Nanu's too, I wish to bring him along." She smiled.
"Sure, send me both. Shravan's going to be so happy Sumo! I've seen the longing in his eyes. He misses you guys so much."
"I know Eric. I can't wait to see him either. But there is a minor issue." She bit her lip.
"Which is what?" He asked concerned.
"Nanu's passport has expired."
"Shit! So how long to get that renewed?" He asked tapping his foot at this unwanted roadblock.
