"Morning Mr. Blinding grin!" Exclaimed Eric.

"Morning Eric!" Replied Shravan Chirpily.

Eric got curious, "Aren't you a bit too happy for your soul?"

"Sounds like a complain?" Shravan raised an eyebrow.

"No not at all, it sounds like an observation." Claimed Eric.

"Hmm... Good.." Shravan whispered mindlessly.

"That's it? Good? That's your answer? Why are you so jumpy so early in the morning heading into a presentation?" He asked interrogating further. Eric could make no sense of his friend's behavior.

"Eric my love, life is too short to be anything but happy." Said Shravan, smile widening.

"Ookay... What are you on? Energy bar? Protein shake? Drugs!" Eric's speculation escalated quickly.

"You think I'm high?" Shravan laughed.

"Well hell yeh!" Exclaimed the befuddled bloke.

"You're right.. I'm high!" Smiling he began walking towards class.

"Whoa Shravan buddy, intoxicants aren't good for health. You are way too young! And you are an athlete too." Said Eric concerned.

"Life, I'm high on life Eric.." Giving a deadpan look.

"Oh. Umm.. Why though? Suddenly?" Eric had this innate need to know. Not that he wasn't happy, he was. Shravan was finally coming around. But it was the why that concerned him.

"Let's just say, I got my friend back." He smiled.

"Duh! I never left you."Shrugged Eric.

Shravan simply looked at him, made a face, winked and walked off. Eric stood rooted for a few moments before it struck him, "You have another friend!" He yelled. "You traitor!"
