Hello guys!

Your comments on the previous part made me elated. Thank you so much for being so involved in the story. Nothing gives a writer more pleasure than knowing their work is loved. And that you guys are giving an armature such as me so much adoration is an out of the world experience.

We had left the story at an important juncture. Eric had gone to meet someone and you all have made assumptions. All your assumptions have boiled down to one person and one person alone. * I'm smiling but I don't know why *. I like it, I! Like it! We will see shortly who Eric has gone to meet.

About this one, Aashnaa.. Meaning Companion. Whose companion? Let's find out. And trust me to defy each of your awesome headcanons! :p

P.S. On a side note, I try my best to involve as many characters as possible in each part. Cause it's a story, where main leads are important but the accessories are too. Even in the past my titles have hinted at happenings around the mains. Just thought of sounding that out loud.

P.P.S. Eid Mubarak! Have a blessed and peaceful one!

Let's get on with this then!

Cooped comfortably in his chair he pulled the shawl in closer to himself. The temperature was too low for his old bones. His mind drifted to his conversation with Suman. She had left him stumped yet again. It was as though each of her revelations that night had been unexpected and thus left him shook to a point of moving.

He knew Suman had a resolve that was steadfast. Once she made up her mind, nothing could waver her from the path she had set out on. But he wasn't sure if he had it in him anymore. Never had he been clouded by thoughts of self-confidence. All his life he had been so sure of himself but that night Suman's innocent request had led him bewildered.

There is one more thing. She had said with that glint in her eyes. He didn't think her next words would leave him stumped. With an expanding business I won't be able to play all roles and do complete justice to them. So I would like you to handle one massive role. Be our financial advisor and accountant please. She had joined her hands and squatted on her knees. He couldn't refuse the pleas in her eyes. Enough with the puppy eyes Suman, he had chastised and voiced his apprehensions. He had been living a retired life for nearly a decade and a half now. She had said, I trust you Nanu, age is but a number. You've still got it in you and I know you will manage it. You don't even need to come to the catering place you can work from home.

Her trust playing in his mind, his worries had somewhat ebbed away. He could try for her sake. In her life many people had let her down, he needn't be one. He was brought to the present with the faint vibration of his phone. He smiled looking at the screen.

"I was waiting for your call. How are you now my child?" He asked.

"I'm perfectly fine Nanu. The reports look promising, I feel better. Only Doctor Cross doesn't want to let me out just yet." Shravan sighed audibly.
