Jack is a new foreign exchange student from Ireland, and this is his first day at Jordan Highschool, home of the Bulldogs. Jack had just moved from Ireland to L.A with his parents because of the new job his dad got. Jack was upset about moving because of all his friends that he had to leave behind, but his parents reassured him that he would make new friends at school. Jack had already been through his freshmen and junior years at his old highschool, so he was glad he didn't have to stay at this new school for very long. Despite what his parents told him, he was still nervous about attending this school. He had no idea what the kids and teachers were like, and he was afraid of getting bullied like he did at his old school. The older kids used to pick on him for being such a good student, and they even tried to peer pressure him into getting into trouble. He refused and attempted to ignore them though. If he ever got into trouble, his parents would be very disappointed in him, which he did not want to happen. He didn't get beaten up by anyone, he just got called names, which he honestly didn't mind very much. It's just when others blame him for something they did that gets him worried. He was hoping that at this school though, that didn't happen.
Jack took a deep breath, and entered the new school. As soon as he walked in, he was immediately overwhelmed with all the anarchy going on in the halls. Kids were running all over the place, throwing school supplies at each other, jumping on and off of tables, it was utter chaos. Jack looked at his schedule, and found out that his first period was in Room 1001, which was past the giant group of people. Jack sighed and started walking towards the crowd. He tried to squeeze his way through the pile, constantly apologizing for bumping into people. Luckily they didn't mind. They were just trying to get to their first period like him. He managed to get past the crowd safely, and started heading towards his first period room.
As soon as he got into the room, he was immediately hit with tons of little spitballs. Basically the whole class laughed at him as he walked to his seat in the front of the class next to a girl who had her head buried in a book. "Hey" he said to her nicely and waved with a small smile on his face. She just ignored him. His smile turned into a frown and he faced the front of the class. "Okay then" he murmured to himself. The bell rang and everyone went silent. "Okay class, are you ready for your first day of the new year at highschool?" the teacher asked excitedly. Most of the class groaned except for Jack and the girl next to him. She was keeping to herself. "Enthusiastic I can tell." she said sarcastically. "Welp! First things first! Class, we have a new student. His name is Sean Mcloughlin. Say hi Sean." Jack turned around to face the class. Everyone was staring at him and he got incredibly nervous. He didn't let it show though. "Hi, I'm Sean. You can just call me Jack, though" he said shyly, waving his hand slightly the same way he did when he attempted to chat with the girl. He looked around the room and everyone was glaring at him. Except for this one boy in the back, who was just on his phone. He had silky red hair and he was wearing a black leather jacket with rips on the sleeves showing the snowy white shirt he was wearing underneath. "Woah" Jack said breathily, staring at the boy, a slight blush on his face. The boy looked up from his phone and looked at Jack, and Jack shot his head down and looked at his legs, looking as red as a tomato. The boy smiled slightly and looked back down at his phone. "Alright, now that were done with that, let's start the lesson" the teacher stated to the whole class. Jack got out of his trance and focused on the lesson.
The class went relatively well, except for the fact that Jack couldn't stop staring at that boy. There was just something about him that made Jack's heart pound out of his chest. Throughout the rest of the day, Jack tried his best to stop thinking about the boy, but he just couldn't. His smooth red hair, his chocolate brown eyes, everything about him just made Jack's heart melt. He was almost over him until he saw him at lunch. He was two tables across from him, hanging out with his friends. Jack couldn't stop staring at him throughout lunch either. But, as he was staring at him, he saw something that shocked him. The boy was holding a knife. The boy had brought a knife to school. Jack looked away quickly before he noticed him staring. "Might've dodged a bullet there." Jack murmured to himself, taking a bite into his sandwich.
Jack went throughout the entire day without any problems, and he even stopped thinking about the boy completely. Except, when he went to go get his stuff from his locker, he heard someone walk up to him. He was confused on who it was, considering he hadn't made any friends yet. He closed the locker door, and turned around to face the person with a confused look on his face. But as soon as he saw who it was, his confused expression immediately turned into shock, and he started blushing madly. It was the boy.
